  • I'm well chuffed as I just used the double up vouchers on toys and bought my DD a Fijit and 3D Moxie doll. Total should have been £65.63 and I spent £0.

I doubled up £30 worth of vouchers and used a £5 moneycard that customer service sent me for refusing an Aldi conditional spend voucher instore. They are crafty in that they don't allow you to spend less than the double up voucher amount but I used a £1 clubcard voucher to pay the 63p balance instead of having to double up another £5 one and having to spend anymore on top for the difference.

Some of the savings on this thread have been amazing. It really does pay to accumulate vouchers over the year. Will try that for 2012 as if my little £65 saving has made me so happy imagine what several hundreds will do:)
My mantra is "Never pay full price!" ;)

Hi, just a quick question about skylanders. I have only heard about it on this thread, would it be suitable for a 5 yr old boy? or is he too small. He loves xbox games, but I don't want to waste my money if it is not suitable. thanx.

    I would say no.

when I looked lastnight the age on it is 10+ and I guess that's partially due to 'cartoon violence' aswell as the game play itself

Edited to add: Looking now it says 7+ I'm sure the actual website said 10+,that or I am losing my marbles!!!!!

Hi, im fairly new to the boards and have a genuine question. Ive got an item in my basket at tesco.com which was/is half price in the toys section, i pop my voucher code in worth £5 but it only takes off £5 and not £10? Is this what should be doubled up or is it just the points? Sorry for sounding a noob :)

You need to double up your voucher first and they'll email you a code to use to get the £10

You have to go into rewards,Go into toys, type in voucher code amount you want i.e. toys, then if you ask for online, you should get a code you use in an email
    have a nice day
