rant away I have she was saying that the skylanders included were the toys?????? whatever dare say it will be taken off the website soon.
for something that is meant to be so straightforward today has been a nightmare with these dozy exchange vouchers!!!0 -
I didn't even realise it was on, only found out I had vouchers this morning when I went to check if my Life Insurance points had gone on. Did the swap then and there, emailed an hour or so later with the coupons, job done, easy as pie!0

You would not be allowed (in most cases) to use say £70 (already doubled up) to purchase £68 of goods. They would insist you either use £60 and pay the difference or find something else in the same category to take you over the £70.
There have been a few instances where the SA has accepted them and I presume the remainder (£2 in this case) would be deducted from the rest of the shopping.
Last time I converted £60 worth of vouchers to £120 worth of exchange vouchers and spent £115 on line in toys. They gave me back (albeit after a while) the £10 back in vouchers plus the goodwill points. Perhaps its different on line or it was a glitch.0 -
Gutted!
I've exchanged my vouchers as I have before and gawd knows how but have managed to get instore not online vouchers. Tescos say they can't change them for evouchers to use online and my three closest stores have hardly no toys (all off the shelves and you are directed to tesco .com instead). I don't drive either. That was all my toy shopping for the kids. How on earth did I manage to c0ck that up so badly
You could always order the toys you want and have them delievered to the store of you choice. Then when you go to pick them up, explain to the Store the error of your ways and ask if they can refund, and allow you to purchase with the instore vouchers you have.
If they say no, just ask for the refund, and stalk the assistant as she puts them back on sales
You are within your right to say you no longer want the goods when you pick them up, so the store would have to return them to sale in that store. So there really shouldn't be a problem offering to re-buy them with the vouchers, yes it's cheeky but it will save someone a job putting them back on sale. Just be nice and0 -
Not sure if helps, but on facebook page states "Tesco Hiya x, yes the skylanders range is included in the toys and bikes category :-). Katie-Leigh Customer care.
So, worth a fight if still being refused... I need to make sure that this is what my son is on about before I go for it....0 -
Worth mentioning for those that didnt realise, even if you pay by vouchers you still qualify for Cashback via Quidco! Also get CC points on your voucher spend, very happy!0

My order is for £120 which I don't have lying about to order sadly. Monumental mess-up to say the least, I did it all in 5 mins last year. I've been passed from dept to dept and no joy. The only alternative is to travel 30miles to my nearest store that actually has toys and hope there is enough there. One dept finally agreed to speak to higher management etc after I mentioned the exception policy another dept told me about but I think I'm clutching at straws.MSE-ing since 20070 -

Just called Tesco's to query this as I have a load of tokens and was hopeful, but you will not be able to use doubled up clubcard vouchers for this cookware (the Thomas Cook and Pour)... you can use your clubcard vouchers at the face value only for them.0 -
