Managed to get the main pressies today (Sainsbury's have a lot of half price toys at the moment if anyone wants to take advantage of some bargains).
Got to do the food shop tomorrow and a big freezer shop on Tuesday; so then I will be more or less ready for Christmas. I am making the cake on Saturday so that will be another thing off the list .
Off to get in my jammies and then get an early night.
Sleep well xBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Brighteyes - thinking of you. Such sad news.
Birds - happy anniversary!! A peace lily is really good for absorbing the bad rays and stuff (techno me eh??) from TVs. I think anyway. Mine is set right next to TV.
Rosyred - really pleased that your DS has managed the 2 days at work ok. It's so hard when he wants to earn for his young one but has back pain. He can't push it as it might come back later in life. Hope he manages ok.
Kitchenbunny - good to see you again!
Seems like some of you have had a lot of rain. We've been dry today!
Been to hairdresser with a Gr0upon voucher and am pleased with colour (2 highlights) which are nice and muted. Toned down a bit from summer. Cut seems fine too. 2 hours + in a hairdressers is a bit much for me though.
Cheapie tea of arabiatta, our spicy fail-me-never, salad and traingles of toast. Oh and wine hehehe. We've eaten out 4 times this week which is not like us at all but things have been happening. 2 of those were breakfasts though! (trying to sneak in some excuses).
Have a good rest of evening folks and I hope you have a good peaceful sleep

I know its getting late in the day but congrats to Mr & Mrs BB and hugs to everybody who needs them, its miserable feeling out of sorts and under the weather.
Not been doing much the last three day whilst I've been off work, just the normal household things, but back at work tomorrow for the next four days so will be getting up at an ungodly hour (for me) and going to bed early!
Thats about it, really boring but everything tootling along OK.

Hello all,
Just realised how late it is....was babysitting DGS2 which is always rather a late night.
Haven't been posting or keeping up lately, feel ashamed of myself, was feeling rotten last week, better this but something to be done for somebody else every day, tomorrow is all mine, although have a dental appointment at 11 to have other loose tooth extracted...supposed to have the stitch removed from last weeks extraction but just noticed that I can't feel it any more, not sure what that will mean.
We had our presidential election to-day....7 candidates, unheard of here. Unfortunately none of them leapt out at me and said 'vote for me' so was still debating what to do this morning....our last 2 presidents have been women and excellent representatives....felt like putting names in hat and picking one, decided to eliminate one by one and voted for the last man standing, hope that it was the right thing to do!
Sorry to hear of troubles and illness, hugs to all in strife, congratulations to all celebrating, sleep well and stay safe
