I thought prices went down when something didnt sell
Im sure there is more to it, I would bet that they are being deluged with offers and they are simply trying to widen the market knowing now what they might get.2 + 2 = 4
except for the general public when it can mean whatever they want it to.0 -
Or they might have had the same situation as us where they had buyers (survey done etc.) who pulled out and they had to remarket, putting it on a price that was close to what they got before.Stercus accidit0

We're getting our house valued today, we paid 87k for it 2 years ago, 3 bed semi with double garage in Fernagh, anyone want to guess what it's worth now? The only things we've done to improve it are paving the back garden and putting in patio doors.0

My cousin just sold his house in Ballynahinch... About 4 years ago he paid 120k for it (5 bedroom house)... His asking price was 275k.... He got 470 for it!!!

I wasn't too far off. Bet you get 190k. The EAs always underestimate so you are all happy when it gets more and hand over the 1% with a smile.
