Afternoon all!
Just had to pop into Mr T's for milk and some other bits £5.13 then B00ts for some toiletries £2.49. Despite having gone way over budget, the freezer is still jammed packed full so things aren't looking too bad.0 -
Hi everyone, not been around lately, hope your all good. I have managed to stay on budget this month (just), only got to go till Sunday, usually do last Thursday of month, but extending it as that is 24th. Should be ok as only need some lettuce, cucumber and fruit.0

This has turned into another disasterous (sp?) month! I haven't been keeping a daily track and have only now just added up the spends for the last week only to find that yet again, I am over budget! I have added up my totals for the last 6 months & it averages £480 pm & also for the last 12 months & it averages £486 pm. If I could just get it under £450, I would be happy. That will probably be doubtful for December though with the extra xmas food.Grocery aim £450pm.Spent £519 August, £584 July, £544 June, £541 May, £549 April, £517 March, £517 Feb,£555 Jan, £573 Dec, £465Nov, £561Oct, £493Sept, £426Aug,£496 Jul, £528Jun, £506May,£498April, £558 March, £500Feb, £500 Jan, £490 Dec, £555 Nov,£566 Oct, £505Sept, £450Aug, £410 July, £437 June, £491 May, £471 April, £440 March, £552Feb, £462Jan0

Well, looks like a few of us have had a 'challenging' month spends wise. I had £17.14 left in my budget and managed to spend £14.49 in A!di and £3.42 in Waitrose - AND I've still got over a week to go till the end of my month  So, that's 77p over budget so far. Luckily all my meals are planned up to the end of the month and I will only need one or two bits to get us there.
Whilst I'm a bit disappointed that I've gone over budget this month it's a lot better than I would've been 12 months ago - I wouldn't have had a clue how much over budget I was and probably didn't have such a good store cupboard or well-stocked freezer. So thank you to everyone who posts for all the ideas and support, it really makes a difference

Ummm oh you made me smile and I need that today! Is it the flacid you've not seen lately or the "other"? You have me wondering now!
Frustrating day as my brother didn't turn up at my house and I waited for nearly an hour for him! :eek:Only just heard his "reason" and although its acceptable a text earlier on would have been nice! :mad:Took my aunt a jar of honey from our hives and she said it was the best present I could have brought her-she was delighted with it. Oh well-I can sleep tonight at least!:) I was so angry earlier though.
No spending today apart from £25 on petrol on other budget.Annual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults0 -
Well another £11 spend but very happy with this one, sons boss at work let me have a sack of strong white bread flour 16kg for £5 and Wholemeal bread flour for £6, I had expected to pay a bit more as that is cost price so very happy indeed makes my HM bread a lot cheaper, now asked son to see how much dried yeast will be, they sell fresh but I couldn't use the catering amount they sell all types of sugar in 25kg sacks so he will price them for me as well and 2 friends want to share a 16kg sack of self raising flour so will find out how that much is as well. He has been working for this firm for a year and it was only last week his boss told him if he wants to buy anything to just ask for a price. So will go and update my sig now.Need to get back to getting finances under control now kin kid at uni as savings are zilch
