suzyjane wrote:Ohhhhh........help.........I just don't get this 641 milarky. I never was the sharpest tool in the box. Is this right.........you have to buy 6 boots no 7 suncreams and just pay for one. Or.........you can add in other no 7 products in with the 6 and still pay for one. Please forgive me for being a bit dippy - I'm new to Boots saving and this site so anyone who can spell it out simply for me will be very much appreciated. I had a look at the beginning of this forum and still didn't get it!!! Doh.
If you go for the 641 then you can only have 6 suncare items. No other No7 product will work with the 641 including fake tan. If you want just two suncare, then you can add in another No7 item and this will go through 341.
Try to keep all items as much around the same price as you can.
i.e. Glossy Locks Spritz x 1(£5.50), Lip/Eye Shimmer x 1(£5.50) and No7 wipes(£6.00).
Total to pay will be £6.00 minus a No7 voucher if you have any = £1 to pay.
OR
6 x Glossy Locks @ £5.50. Total to pay after voucher 50p.0 -

I didn't see the reduced botanics stuff, ah well never mind. I've done very nicely!!
Now, this glossy locks stuff - do you think it could just be used before or after blowdrying as a general conditioner? I might try that as got a few bottles to get through now...
Lol yes, think we need a secret sign or something :rotfl:
Well, daft as it sounds, although I have been eagerly buying up various No7 sun things, I haven't ACTUALLY had a look at how you use them! I know someone on here said the glossy locks is good for on holiday in the sun, but also for swimming, which is why I got it as I like swimming. But I've 'hidden' my stash under the bed as cupboards as bulging and hubby thinks I am a bit mad, so perhaps it's about time I got some out to actually think about using!!0 -
Fresh! bath pearls of delights - in cylindrical transparent container has yellow spotted pattern top and green spotted pattern at bottom.
Were £3, reduced to 75p - picked a couple up to make up a total spend today and they scanned through at 18p (75% off the 75% off price) :j So picked up a few more. Also got a couple of Glitterbabes backpacks reduced from £10 to £4 and I also got 6 x reduced Conditioning Face Serum for £3 - then added a few other bits to the transaction and it knocked off the whole £5 of the No7 voucher so I got them FREE plus money off my other shopping.
Total was £2.72 to pay and I got given another voucher. Plus lady behind me didnt want her voucher so SA gave it to me.. I was well impressed with the SAs there - really helpful and genuinely pleased to see me get loads of bargains and also pleased that their clearance stock was being sold. I'm going to e-mail and say how pleasant they were.
Walsall store seem to keep finding sale items... Glitterbabes sleepover giftsets £20. When I first went into the store they werent there, I was about to leave when I spotted them stuck on the floor in front of the shelves so got a price check and they were 75% off. So had 2 and paid with £10 worth of points. Don't give up hope there are still sale bargains to be had.0 -
I took a green and an orange booklet to the no7 counter and asked the SA 'do i need to get these scanned' hoping she would say yes, and heres your free gift. But no such luck - she just said no, you can just take the booklets0

It might not be relevent in terms of a free gift, but my Boots had signs up today about a Change One Thing promotional event instore tomorrow (27th).If I hadn't seen such riches, I could live with being poor...0 -
I am still trying to pluck up courage for the 6 for 1 even though I have done athe 3 for 1 a couple of times! I'll kick myself if I don't get brave enough before it ends.
Does anyone know how the land lies in Wrexham town centre store? I would love to know what they have there (Body bars/ Sun cream/sale items) and what the SA's say about the offers going through. Anyone know if they have any lilac bags that go through with the voucher?
I have only been to the Plas Coch one where the SA's are very nice but there isn't much left in the sun care line and only a couple of body buffers. Sales items are all gone too.0 -
A big first hello and thank you to all my virtual friends on this board. I have been observing the board for the past few weeks and am amazed what knowledge is found within. I now have a lot of Botanics goodies plus after plucking up my courage tried the Sun 6:1 offer and yes it worked. I was quite anxious about that one.
Went in today and spent £7 on various items and they had no more of the vouchers left (No 7 / haircare). The SA said she could not sign my receipt so I could claim one when they came back in stock as they have had fraud probs with people signing their own vouchers! Anyway bottom line is if any of you lovely people out there have a spare one which you could give to me please PM me and I will send an SAE.
Thanks again for all the great advice - I hope I can contribute some gems of wisdom sometime soon.0 -
I returned 2 X No7 glossy locks which I bought last week on BOGOF with £5 voucher paying just 50p.
I then bought 6 glossy locks instead for only 50p, SA was flabergasted, thanks to all as I wouldnt have dared previously,
Also some botanics (dark green labels) reduced to 50p/£1 in Huddersfield by the main door tills.

Just got back from shrewsbury, found some Botanics body bars, three of them! (I appear to find everything in threes), so got 2 moisturising face creams and a moistursing body scrub, didn't work,do SA said she'd put them through seperatly, said "Shame, i'd lose out on another voucher, but if thats how it must go, OK", and she replied they'd run out at that counter anyway, but the moisturising body scrub didn't go through, so just got another face cream, one ech for me, mother and gran again, happy bunny
Then flamin forgot to use my 3 100 botanic vouchers >.<
