Nearly had a cardiac arrest in Boots this morning - my 6 for 1 went thru and the SA said "that can't be right" and she went off to the No7 counter to check. Came back and said I had to go over there to pay for it. I did - the No7 lady scanned them all and said "wow what a bargain" as she took my 50p.0

i went to boots white rose in leeds yesterday. was too scared to try the 641 as they only had aftersun type brands in stock - i wasnt sure that these would work? is it just the self-tan that doesn't?
got a reduced body bar and body buffer with free moisturisers though. and a hair spritz thing for 49p with voucher.0 -
I went to my local store this morning to see what bargains I could get......
Nothing interesting left in the 75% off sale so didn't buy anything. I managed to get an exfoliating skin body bar for 99p, 100 points from the coupon plus a Botanics sensitive/dry skin calming cream (£6.99) free. I also got the Umberto Gianini Colour Care Brunette Conditioner for 99p using my £3.00 haircare voucher and a Ruby & Millie eye make up brush for free using the £5.00 cosmetics voucher.
I tried using my second £3.00 haircare voucher against the Umberto Giannini Balancing Act All The Way Shampoo in another transaction but it would not go through.Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician....0 -

If anyone needs help near Barnsley or Wakefield, I would be only too willing to help them out with their shopping
I have done the offers time and time again and the SA's do not scare me at all!
I am sure other people could do this too if they live near the less experienced Bootsters?
This is such a great community and a really friendly and helpful forum, I am sure lots of people would be willing to help!
Superb idea. My local store is pretty small but they're all very nice .... never had any problems there. Would be nice to have a kindred spirit to do my boots bargain hunting with (my OH just doesn't get it bless him!).
So any other boots tarts in east berkshire...pm me:)0 -
Boots_babe - it looks like our paths might have crossed this morning, haha!! Maybe we should all start wearing red carnations or doing a secret handshake:rotfl:
I didn't see the reduced botanics stuff, ah well never mind. I've done very nicely!!
Now, this glossy locks stuff - do you think it could just be used before or after blowdrying as a general conditioner? I might try that as got a few bottles to get through now...0 -

am having lots of luck with the botanics thou and even manage to look surprised every time it works , my hubby wanted some so i got him the expensive one in box free with body buffer ( no body bars in this one for ages )
The no 7 suncare is with all the other sun tan lotions. This was even on a different floor to the no 7 stand in one boots I visited! Don't be scared of the no 7 lady. Just pay at a different counter. If she offers to let you pay with her just say that you have more shopping to do first and walk away with your basket full of stuffThere's a skinny woman inside me screaming to be let out. A cookie soon shuts her up!!! :rotfl:0 -

MSE Boots-Tarts secret 'handshake'..... casually rub hand on side of face in a 'dear God my skin is so fabulously soft due to all the Botanics' manner, then flick hair seductively, blinding any near-by security guards with your dazzling glossy locks. Finally, fan face with big wedge of Vouchers.
We should spot each other a mile off!! (or be swiftly carted off to the local Funny Farm!) :rotfl:2008 gig list... Nickelback + Staind (OMG...Staind ROCKED!!), Roger Waters, Infadels, Pendulum, The Police, K T Tunstall, Breed 77, Biffy Clyro....oh, and Motorhead0
