Just a thought: how on earth do Boots make a profit? :S Does the sheer volume of profitable transactions outweigh these fabulous bargains?

    ALSO: Shapers 50p vouchers...
    1. You only need to use one per transaction e.g. buy 5 sarnies and use one coupon, it takes 50p off each one.
    2. These work with reduced to clear sandwiches too! But you must make sure they go through the till as SHAPERS and not just as "reduced s/w" or "chilled waste" as once I experienced! Boots reduce their sandwiches usually 2-3hours before closing time and are always 75p, so 25p with coupons! I have been buying loads of these recently.

    Hi mich1984
Just read your post and can't believe she thought she could say that and get away with it ,that is totally unnacceptable behaviour towards you.You should have said 'Have you ever heard of mystery shoppers?' That would have silenced her. Hope you rang up customer services to complain.

641 is working today, just been and got 2 lots, this was at DerbyWyvern. SA didnt even bat an eyelid there. The SA in Derby must be a rarebreed, they either just put stuff through or ask me if theres any left so they can get some!!:rotfl:
I must say I prefer Wyvern to Kingsway..always need to have prepared exactly what I'm getting in mind for latter....but to take it up a notch the 4 seasons centre in Mansfield sa go off hunting for you if you get it wrong! (St Peters retail park not as obliging) plus had yardleys freebies in yesterday...shower gel @ £3.50 best buy...but resisted as don't really need freebie towel umbrella or candle and got a years supply of shower gel already! Yes. You have to spend £5 to get a voucher. Check they have some left before the transaction. I think they are being given out untill the 30th jan, and they expire on 2nd feb.

I've never had anything but great customer service in both Wyvern and Kingsway. There is one SA at Kingsway with short dark spiky hair (usually works in the mornings), She usually remarks what great offers I keep getting, and asking where the stuff is so she can get some, she also tells me about offers that she gets with her staff disc!!

The only prob I have at Wyvern is cos I've been in sooooo many times lately the security guard watches me like a hawk, its really funny, he tries to act casual but it is so obvious!!!

Has anyone had problems with the boots in Mansfield, I went today and i got a Botanics waffle thing for £1.50 and the body firming cream took them to till with mag when she scanned the things it didn't take off the cream, I pointed out that it wasn't right and her reply was "the waffle thing is only £1.50" and i said so and then she said you need to buy another moisturiser to get one free and if it isn't going through the till there is nothing she can do

well as the consensus seems to suggest guess it depends on the sa...I used the old and well tested anti bacterial shaving gel with anti-ageing cream with success in Mansfield 4 seasons....a customer in front of me was taken off to be shown the 'free' moisturiser' she could get with her purchase?? Do the sa's have different training depending where they're based?
