  • Question?
Got down to my local Boots today but made it late so decided to just buy the stuff I needed to get the £5 no7 voucher & £3 hair one - they were just switching the light off so difficult to see any pricing stickers.
Got to checkout - used the pharmacy one - only to be told that they were totally out of all the vouchers & not expecting more in. Is this normal as the signs are still up in the window?

I overheard some SAs saying they had totally run out of vouchers today!! (Croydon branch)
Nooooooo...i thought I had another week of mad 'get-shed-loads-of-stuff-for-next-to-nowt-by-throwing-vouchers-at-the-SA' Boots type activity left! Mind you, there is always Ebay for more lovely vouchers :rotfl:
2008 gig list... Nickelback + Staind (OMG...Staind ROCKED!!), Roger Waters, Infadels, Pendulum, The Police, K T Tunstall, Breed 77, Biffy Clyro....oh, and Motorhead :D

Anyone know when customer services add points to your card and you can only get it by putting your card in machine, how does that work? i Put my card in the machine but nothing happened and no additional points on my card?? :-(

It can take a few days, when did you speak to customer services? You can check any pending points online at boots.com

Does anyone know whether moisturising sugar scrub (£5) work with botanics link saved? It's pretty good to use. If not, I will buy it using my point and get another moisturising cream for free.

Last december, I had only around 2,000 points. Now I have 4,000 points left on my card with some 2,000 points already spent. Means that I saved 4,000 points within less than a month. Thanks all of your guy.

I got it a couple of weeks ago and it didn't work automatically but i said it had moisturising on the label and she put it through for free.

I found some nice reduced Botanics gift sets today priced @2.49 and 3.00 got the eye cream @6.99 and body butter @5.00 free

    Also bought 2x No7 pre-holiday face serum @7.50
    1x hydro quench sauna mask@9.00
redeemed 5.00 voucher paid 4.00 for goods worth 24.00

Had an eye test and ordered new reading glasses. Used 1000points voucher from change 1 thing. Losts of really nice designer glasses in the sale.

Noticed No7 lady still had a sign up saying 3 4 2 does not apply to reduced items and you cannot use 5.00voucher either. She had the same sign up when they had the burgundy bags. But we all know the voucher works with the Burgundy bag - I have bought several from another store. The stuff she has marked as reduced have barcoded stickers on them, so I thought they might not work as 3 4 2, but the Botanics stuff I bought earlier had barcoded stickers on them and I still got the creams free. Tomorrow I will choose my SA well and give it a try.

    Help!!!
I went to Boots this evening to do the Bogof Sun Items and the 3 for 2.
    Dont know what went wrong
    I bought 2 x Hair Spritx @£5.50 each
    1 Lip Shimmer @£5.50
    1 Sunless Tanninh Kit @ £6.00
    1 No 7 Wipes @£6.00
    1 No 7 Concealer.
They gave me 1 Hair Spritz free, 1 Lip Shimmer Free, the wipes free and I used a no 7 £5.00 voucher. I also bought Botanics Mini Shave Balm : £1.50 and a Botanics Post Shave Balm @£4.75. They said the mini balm was a mousturiser and was free but when I got home and checked I did not get anything free on the Botanics and my total bill was £19.25 with £22.00 saves. Does this mean that I made a mistake by buying the Sunless Tanning Kit as it is a No 7 item and not a Tanning item?
If it worked as previously I should have paid about £5.50 with the voucher ( Not counting the Botanics)

I, going back tommorow to return the goods and then buy them again but substituting one of the no 7 items with a No 7 Sun item. Is this correct.I will do the same with the Botanics.
Sorry to ramble but I feel cheated!!

In order to get the 641 to work all 6 items have to be suncare. Sunless tanning kit does not work as suncare. If you put them through in two transactions then yes if you change the sunless tanning kit to another suncare item then that would work on 342.
  • Just a thought, Barnsley had about 25 of the Glitzy babes stationary sets, all reduced to £5. (which will be reduced even further on Sunday morning)

Is this a good price and are people still coveting them?
Stopped smoking Jan 2007 after 23 years!
    Cigarettes NOT smoked = 240,945
    Smoke free days = 11 Years :T
Cash saved so far = £125,45,11

I'm after one of these - are you sure they are going down on Sunday? I rang CS and said prices vary so maybe your store are reducing them.

    Hi

I just checked my boots point online and it shows the points and then an entry which says

Your pending points* balance is -1179. These points aren't included in the balance shown above.

Does that minus sign mean they are going to take some points off me or is that how they always show?

    thanks

Apparently this does mean that the points will removed when the card is next used (assuming the system is working properly), so says the OH who works (when not at Uni) for them. Booo!!!
