annapantscats wrote:Just been Bootsing again. (Whitgift Centre Croydon) No No7 glossy locks or lip and eye sheen OR body buffers to be found. Asked the No7 SAs if they were getting anymore in. They were really off-hand, verging on rude. "No" was the basic answer. ("they are old stock, we havent had them in since November, and WONT be getting anymore, blah blah blah") So I just got an eye Pencil for £6.75 and used a £5 voucher. I asked for another voucher and she said I couldnt have one. I explained I had been given them before with the same offer/spend. "Well you shouldnt have been given one, I would keep quiet if I were you because you shouldnt have had that money off" say the SA..... and believe me, it wasnt said in a helpful 'keep it to yourself' way!!
Such a shame, as I have had some great deals recently and really enjoyed all the bargain hunting. These two have put me right off.......... nearly! I grabbed a Lipstick design gift bag as I was leaving, payed for it at a normal till and used my last voucher. So a nice eyeliner and a goody bag for £3.25 at the end of the day.
Customer services said the same to me earlier, after the voucher you paid £1.75, which is less than £5, I was arguing with an SA about it earlier, dispite the other sa opposite her giving me one for £2.78 after £3 voucher 6 mins earlier ¬¬. So apparently most of teh vouchers we've all had.. we're not meant to have had!~*Cerenia*~

I just checked my boots point online and it shows the points and then an entry which says
Your pending points* balance is -1179. These points aren't included in the balance shown above.
Does that minus sign mean they are going to take some points off me or is that how they always show?
thanks
go into boots and when you put card in to ac machine it will automatically add your online points and a print out will come out the slot telling you whats been added:A NI FEIDIR ACH LE DIA BREITHIUNAS A DHEANAMH ORM0 -

I am so glad you wrote this!! I KNEW I had had vouchers for a spend under £5 on No7 stuff before, probably 5 or 6 times actually, so I thought the awful SAs at the Boots I went to today just had it in for me!!!
No7 SA paranoia was kicking in there!! :rotfl:2008 gig list... Nickelback + Staind (OMG...Staind ROCKED!!), Roger Waters, Infadels, Pendulum, The Police, K T Tunstall, Breed 77, Biffy Clyro....oh, and Motorhead0 -

misseypootle wrote:Has anyone tried the No7 Suntan Lotions, as in applied them?
I bought the Facial Sun Lotion a couple of years ago and thought it was brilliant. It goes on like a really rich moisturiser, it feels lovely. I even used it on my husbands, and my 4 year old sons face and none of us burned. I can highly recommend this product, I have got some more on the 342 its on at £8.50 now but maybe worth considering in the 641 offer if you want something really nice.
I bought 6 (I mean 1;) ) the other day. I was going to ask if anyone had ever used this. I can't wait for my hols now:j0 -
Not sure if its been posted - probably has but I have'nt got time to look through the thread
My local boots (Hanley) was putting out lots of childrens books in the sale section yesterday. They had a couple of cages of them - some toys too.
I took a pile to the till and asked the prices - they all had 75% off.
going on a bear hunt (my fave kids story!£1.25, the very lazy ladybird £1.25, very special christmas (with twinking fairy lights inside)£2, then they had lots pop up books like the very dizzy dinosaur for £1.75.
They also had some tutti cutti stationary sets which had notepad, pen, 2 pencils, 3 coloured pencils, erasers, sharpener, pencil case, ruler & 10 origami sheets for £2.50 instead of £9.99. A fantastic Christmas present for all my nieces. So please with this!Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0 -
Happyshopper wrote:First of all i would like to thank everyone for posting this offer , i have tried the 3 4 1 a few times now , iam still too scared to try the 6 4 1 , has anyone in the south east tried this yet ??
What i wanted to ask was about boots.com and their delieveries , i ordered from there and requested my order to be deleivered today and as yet nothing !! I'm i right , in that they only deliever up to 5pm ???
I have emailed boots customer service complaining, i waited in all day and asking when it will be delievered , feel bad as i emailed them yesterday after they said my boots advantage card was inactive , they rewarded me 500 points and is sending a new card . Hope they now dont think iam being greedy
I thought for a minute that someone had hi-jacked my password and was posting in my name. Welcome to MSE, Happyshopper! (From Happy shopper)

Had a wonderful day shopping in Boots
Went to Cortonwood near Wath and was served by a lovely Sa and nothing was too much trouble for her, I took full advantage of this and played around with a few things to see if the haircare vouchers would work with other brands but no luck so far.
Bought 12 Suncare items plus vitamins and other bits and pieces and I boosted my advantage card from £26 to a massive £45!
After that I went to Barnsley where I was very pleasantly surprised as to how much stock they had.
Lots of reduced Botanics on the far left wall as you come in, from only £1.47 for deodorant ( I paid £2.95 in Wath for this) make sure you use the 100 points voucher!
Bought more suncare/botanics/vitamins plus 4 burgundy bags and used points vouchers each time to boost my card up to a fabulous £70.85!
I did rather spoil this later on by buying 3 meal deals with points for my hungry brood but I still have £62 so not complaining
So, if you are after Burgundy bags or reduced Botanics or lots of instock suncare, go to BarnsleyStopped smoking Jan 2007 after 23 years!Cigarettes NOT smoked = 240,945Smoke free days = 11 Years :TCash saved so far = £125,45,110
