EDIT: Anyone know of any new Boots offers not listed on post #1?! :rotfl:
xx
Morning! Not a new offer, but not sure if it has been posted here before, but more a warning that an old offer isn't working any more, well not in the boots' near me - Somerset!
Just to let you know that the £5 no 7 voucher no longer works with electrical no 7 stuff, for instance the eyelash curlers and mini trimmer at £5.99, well not in the two stores I tried yesterday! May work in other areas though, but be aware. Also the electrical items no longer go through as part of the 3 for 2 offer any longer, these were working still at the weekend. Also the no 7 light up mirror that was priced at £14.99, labelled reduced to half price on the shelves, is actually scanning at £39.99 now, the SA removed the label from the shelf after doing my reduction manually.
Anyway before buying any of the electrical stuff or trying to include it in a 3 for 2 and BOGOF suncream purchase you might want to mention to the SA that you are only gonna buy it if it works as part of the offers, or if you can use your voucher.GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -

...
so here goes again, The Boots No7 suncream offer? No signs up at all in either of my Boots stores, Is this a national offer, will it definately work??
Botanics travel size bottles (£1.49ish) do these qualify for free Moisturiser offer?
I have read the first few pages with the offers detailed but they don't answer my 2 questions..
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.
Yes, it will defo work. My cupboards are groaning under the weight of all the suncreams. None of the stores I've been to have advertised either and half of the time the SA will tell you that it works out better if you put it through in two transactions. Don't listen, just say that you don't need two vouchers as you already have a few and just to bung it all through together.
Hope it works for you and let's hear how you got on.0 -
Hi there
Planning a trip to boots this afternoon. So much info here it is quite confusing. Please can someone confirm the items I need to buy to qualify for the 641?
Will it work with 4 No7 Suncare items and 2 other No7 items?
Also going to look for Botanics stuff. Can't wait. :jThere's a skinny woman inside me screaming to be let out. A cookie soon shuts her up!!! :rotfl:0 -
mich1984 wrote:i bought my 6 for 1, some botanics stuff and some other bits and pieces I needed. at the till the SA asked me if I had vouchers half way through my transaction, whic i thought was a bit strange...gave her them anyway. she rang everything through and told me how much it was, was a bit deaer than i expected it to be so i asked her if she'd put my vouchers through (hair and no7) she said yes and it was fine. walked away, looked at receipt, neither voucher been scanned. went back to the till and said voucher hasnt gone off. she tried to fob me off with "you've got a no7 hair gloss thats not cosmetic or skincare which is what the voucher says". told her she shouldnt have said she'd put them through if she had no intention of. she threw the vouchers back at me, i asked her to stop being funny with me and she said (and i quote) "your the one thats being funny, you cheapskate. havent you got enough money off what you've bought in there (pointing at my bags) without the vouchers. you cant have everything for nothing".
not impressed at all. being called a cheapskate in front of a queue of people is rather humiliating. think i will give up bootsing now!
That's awful Mich - I'd send a Recorded Delivery complaint letter to their C/S Director. Boots do commission quite a lot of Mystery Shopping, so they do, at least, like to be seen to be providing good customer service.
Don't you dare give up Bootsing - that way you let some bitter & twisted SA get the better of you.
I do think, though, the attitude of quite a few of their staff has got out of hand lately - they really need to do something about it. I've been amazed at how rude they can be! There is no doubt many of the staff really resent customers taking full advantage of special offers. Going back a while ago, one had the cheek to say to me (when buying a load of stuff on promotion) -"that's hardly in the spirit of it"!!! Well, sorry, I'm not b***** psychic - what exactly is the "spirit of it"? They're doing promotions for 1 reason only -to get more customers in the shop & to sell more! It's not an act of charity!
They are either paying their Marketing Team & Agencies thousands of pounds for poorly-thought-through promotions, which give rise to these glitches - or it's all quite deliberate, to keep the Boots brand alive & create a buzz & excitement around it (would we shop there otherwise?).
Either way - it's not our problem - we just go in & buy the stuff!0 -
How long does it take for your replacement boots card to come, i only phoned yesterday lol.

Any one worried about trying the 6 4 1 DONT!, once you have done it once there is no stopping i did 7 transations with one SA and he told me what a great bargin it was , i did mention it was going out of date! But every SA seems to tell me ive done well today etc None have been nasty or told me no, But if they did i would soon call a manager over and cause a real fuss. The last time a SA was rude to me, well put it this way she wont be rude to me again.
By the Way massive thank you to all posters, i love this thread highly Adictive!!!!People who live in glass houses shouldnt throw stones...
