i went to blackpool on sunday, was the best one i've been to round here, they've got plenty of eveything (wel they did have...:p)

had a nasty experience in the preton store tonight, SA almost had me in tears!

theres goodies in it - 2 are listed with the info about the bag in the magazine (creams or something but im sure there will be bits of makeup in there as usual)

Yes, so did we, which is why we can't understand getting told off for doing it!!!
Everyone loves a bargain but it's nice to be nice, and not come on to just bag a bargain and if you can't find it instantly then the next best thing is to complain, i think that is what happened with us and if you just politely point everyone in the right direction ie: post No1 you should be ok.

Had a brilliant time in Boots today and saved a fortune!

Did the 641 twice and paid 50p each time plus used the 250 points voucher out of the burgundy bag!

I also bought 5 x £1.55 vitamins and used 5 x 300 points vouchers and the £1 off from the change one thing so actual cost was £2.75 with 1500 points!

Bought 3 x flu sachets and used the 100 points vouchers from the booklet each time.

I started off with £5.00 in points on my card and ended up with over £26.00!

I would also say to those that are a bit nervous about doing some of the deals, don't be!

If it doesn't work or it costs more than you think it should, tell them you thought it was going to be cheaper and you will come back later when you have sorted it out, they won't be offended and you won't then miss out on potential bargains, I would also try not to go to a main till if you are trying out a deal as its easier to sort it out if you use one of the smaller/ less busy tills like the pharmacy or one of the perfume counters.

I was nervous also but I just thought I would go for it as the rewards were bigger than the potential embarassment

not impressed at all. being called a cheapskate in front of a queue of people is rather humiliating. think i will give up bootsing now!

If it doesn't work why not just say that you have forgotten your debit card.
They will then suspend the purchase until you can get your card. Then you can just leave without paying a large amount of money. BUT it will work.

I would definitely ring customer services, this sa needs to be told her beahviour is out of order.

She should be ashamed! :mad:
