Can we start a chat in the arms regarding boots -i thought it would have been closed down? not fussing just dont want to start one and then get in trouble? If all the offers are on page one here too surely all the info can be found easily enough - again not picking just wanting to clarify
I agree, the chat is where we learn lots of extras ... and if we nominate key posts for the front page then we can access the basic info directly too.0 -
i went to boots today and got my £5 top up for 3 mobile and got a £5 voucher/£3 voucher yeahhhhhh. points too im gonna go back and get more. Then i am quids in as i need the top up for phone anyway and can stock u[p on no7 glossy locks spritz which is good for my little girls frizzy hair and doesnt itch as its so light and not greasy. i recon the sun range did not sell well and this is their way of off loading the stuff. I think alot of the stores do this kind of thing as it makes their sales figures look good and creates a buzz also gets people searching round the shop. Look at the way they hide the botanics range all over the place for gods sake. You have to creep round the whole shop top and bottom to find it all. I would never have tried the botanics if not for this offer. i know have 20.00 in points from this month alone!!!!!
ps the no7 preholiday skin gift set in see through plastic bag £5.50 is on three for two and works with the buy one get one free glitz. i got six in two gos and paid £1
they may ask u to do the top up inseperate transaction.!:j I sometimes give myself admirable advice, but am incapable of taking it.0 -
Sorry but I need a fix - Is there a discussion thread?????? Pleassseeeee......
(just been to boots again - the last time honestly!!! well had to go shopping and as boots was next door to supermarket.... Got home and hubbie announced oh its suncream and chips for dinner tomorrow then :rotfl: I was walking round the supermarket looking for body bars!!! )
If I am really after some no7 foundation am I best to wait till the new bag comes out as the foundation is expensive and use a voucher with it too?? I am too tired to work this one out - too many late nights lying in bed thinking about suncream, vitamins and hair stuff:eek:
If anyone can help that may give me a few more hours sleep tonight!!!:rotfl:0 -
Hi
I finally tried the 641 and it worked!!!
There must be another MSEr in my area, as there were only 5 Lip/eye screen left and no other £5.50 products but I tried to remember what I had read on this forum and purchased a £7.50 cooling facial balm. Used my £5 voucher and had all 6 products for £2.50.
Thanks to all who have contributed to this post. Told my sister now that I've tried it so she is going to put it to the test tomorrow.
Changing the subject, if you purchase a hair care product for less than £3 will it still accept the voucher? Likewise with the 300 points voucher on vitamins, do you have to spend over £3 to use the points?
As you can see I am still very much a novice at this but thanks to you all I am building up quite a lot of points on my AC and only started using it properly just before Christmas.

i would wait, thats what i'm doing. it's only a week or so then you only have to pay £10 (£15-£5 voucher) and you get a free bag too0

i would get the foundation if its a no7 one that you want and make it up 2 a £5spend that way you will still have the foundation and another voucher to use towards the jewellry bag-it is 9 days till the 31st i wouldn't be able to keep away from boots that long.Love can tame the wildest0

dh to purchase boots no 7, £6.50 make up bag
(the one with the vouchers in)
he came back having spent £1.50
plus the £5 voucher, they said they
would not accept the 250 points
voucher with it as well.Is this right ?
I am certain I have always used up my
vouchers when buying these in the past
they reckoned it was because it used to be a free
gift.
Looked for it today but couldn't find it?
Thanks0 -

I just noticed that my 300 vitamin points weren't scanned on my receipt
Should I go back to the store or ring customer services. I am new to this Boots stuff and haven't even got my proper card yet, just the cardboard one. My vitamins are on the receipt along with loads of no 7 and botanics which cost virtually nothing so don't really want to show my receipt.
What should I do?0 -

What is this offer please?
There is currently one on the foundation with a red/pink box of cosmetics of some sort on offer at the moment. Is this the same thing? We seek a world in which everyone with HIV/AIDS can live an abundant lifeWant to join us?0 -
The foundation I am after, I think is £12.50 . so if no7 is still on 342 and I find some reduced stuff do you think this would work???
How does it work, when they say spend £15 is that before the voucher discount or after???
Oh and how/who do I write /email about a really helpful member of staff???0
