you obviously caught the sa out. so dont give it another thought.
perfect revenge is to do more bootsing -not stay away.
you are the customer-she obviously shouldnt be working in a service industry if she doesnt know the basics of service and you are the one with the know how to get the bargains.
take a deep breath
go in again
get more bargains and if it were me-id make sure i got that sa- and do it all again.
dont give up-what for-because of what some unimportant person said-that you really wont remember by your 50th trip to get more suncreams!!!!!!!!:A NI FEIDIR ACH LE DIA BREITHIUNAS A DHEANAMH ORM0 -

Botanics - mens antibacterial shaving gel still in stock -
Hi, just to say I have been London this weekend, staying with my daughter - who has been stunned by the botanics & No 7 offers. In Boots on Oxford Street, and also in High Street Kensington there was plenty of the above shaving gel, its on 1.37 - managed to get men's moisturiser normally over £9 free, plus some others. Also, in High street Kensington they have a selection of Number 7 suncare items free with any mascara - so managed to get 2 suncare items, one No 7 mascara, free suncare item, using voucher only paid £5. Did not see the free suncare in Oxford street. Daughter is going back to try it again for herself - many thanks to all posters for the great info.0 -
on a boots note I managed to get 641 lip/eye screen used voucher paid .50p then 641 Glossy lock paid 0.50 did that twice (going back tomorrow for some sun screen) then did 4 x shave gel got 2 x mens & 1 x ladies moisturiser & 1 x body butter a bag full of shopping for pennies............ oh happy days
on that note nytol0 -
Just wanted to say thank you to everyone on here for their helpful advice and comments re: bootsing.....
I've not been on this forum long, and when I first discovered this Boots thread, I was absolutely amazed  :rotfl: :rotfl:
Thanks to your help I have got a nice little collection of goodies some for myself, some for my mum, and some for pressies later on for friends.....
It also gives you the confidence to stand your corner when reading of your experiences - I've become a dab hand at looking like butter wouldnt melt when the SA informs me of the savings I have made !!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
By the way I got the secret trimmer today instore for £5.99, and I got chewable Vit C orange tabs for 75p using voucher, got my 300 points, and using the said 300 points, got a reduced radial hairbrush from £6 to £2.05 and a Garnier cellulite rollerball for £1.75.
And my Orange top up of £5 plus voucher.......:p
And lip and eye shimmer, glossy locks and another purple 'Gorgeous' bag for £1.50, using £5 coupon !!!!;)
All I need now is a bargain cupboard to put them all in !!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
:rotfl:I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

not impressed at all. being called a cheapskate in front of a queue of people is rather humiliating. think i will give up bootsing now!
I'd complain about that first thing in the morning! Theres no way someone with that attitude should be working in such a customer related area! Could never do anything as horrid as that, and i've only worked in retail for 2 years, but people with bad attitudes like that..~*Cerenia*~

Hi, i work in boots and i can assure you that is not how we normally treat our customers. In your receipt it should state the name of the person you served you in the till, take it with you and ask for the manager stating it is very important. In small stores the manager tends to be the pharmacist, ask around that area, do not look for the person who served you!
boots staff like normal people sometimes have bad days but even then that is not how any staff should treat customers. i hope you continue to shop in boots because i can assure you we recieve some of the best training mainly in healthcare, costmetics and electrical.
Also don't let the manager get away if he only says sorry, ask what will be done to the staff member and explain in detail your feelings, not just what happened. This will make the manager take it seriously and might offer you something, maybe a voucher or a free item.
Also remember, what you are doing is also representing all the other customers this staff has abused, so you are doing a good service to the public.
Hope it goes well !!y2j0 -

After goods have scanned, hand over your AC vouchers first, listen for the beep as each is scanned, hand over any money-off vouchers, and then pay. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
