  • I tried to get the £2.50 mens Botanics anti-perspirant with voucher today .... didn't work :(

But I had 7 £2.50 vouchers and managed to get :
    2 x Botanics lip balms £2.50 ... so free
1 x Botanics clay mask - needed this so spent the £2.09 extra...but used 100pts voucher from mag :D
    2 x Botanics mens shave gel £2.79 ... so 29p each
    1 x Nivea visage facial wash gel £2.99 ... so 49p
    1 x Nivea mens shave foam £2.69 ... so 19p

Also found a great bargain - Botanics Radiance Beauty Balm (40ml - non see through tube in pale grey box) - was £1!!! So used 100pts voucher

just exchanged the sanctuary peeling masks which were harder than concrete without any probs-sa was lovely -because i had used vouchers they gave me 2 vouchers back and also what i had paid£2.50.This was in festivel park, theres a little clearance stand near the tills with sanctuary moisturisers reduced to £2 so i got 2 of those and 1 skin brightneng mosituriser with the new vouchers, also found some hairslides reduced to £1 from £7 and a loreal anti-ageing mosituriser reduced from £9.45 to £2.45 so i got that too.
They have lots of avene products in the clearance-cold cream cleanser, anti-redness gel etc at £1.87 to £3.ish which is a huge saving, some roc items and some ted baker mens serums reduced aswell. Also saw some glitterbabes lipgloss kits at 75p and a basket full of hair accesories starting from a £1 to £3ish and a couple of bags aswell(the monsoon style)
    Love can tame the wildest

Tried to get the Sanctuary Rosemary & Mint sachets but the SA said they wouldn't work with the £2.50 voucher, tried to get the aromatherapy pillow mist for £1 using the ACM voucher, but she refused it as it was a mini (tried playing dumb). Booo miserable shop. Got in a fluster so forgot to hand over my 100pt voucher for the cold&flu tablets... *slaps forehead*

She should have still given you the pillow mist as the voucher does not exclude minis it doesn't exclude anything they manually added my points and agreed with me you need to tell them there is no terms and conditions

Ahh crud :( I tried saying I didn't realise it was technically a mini (although it is small) but didn't seem to work. Think she even scanned it as she scribbled over it, but the receipt didn't pick up the points so she handed it back after checking.

  • Having over £40 on my card I thought I would try to buy the peel kit and wrap with points - I have seen some people have been able to do it and others have not.

Well I am in the "not" category

Put peel kit through first, then wrap, then big buzz, then SA swung screen round which said "customer does not qualify for free gift"

Was so embarassed QUICKLY grabbed another peel kit and said "Will it work now".....of course it did but 2 x Kits (1600 points) and only 1 wrap

Ah well......at the end of the day it is STILL 2 peels for the price of one original kit and it is STILL 1 wrap (ok not 2!) so not the best deal but not the worst deal either.

How people have managed to get kit/wrap with points I don't know but I will not be trying again :o

My DH is much miffed because since having his own card he has not had a single offer via the ac machine...

is it like this for most men using the machine. My Fella is convinced that
Boots operate a sexist system just to encourage the female shoppers
Boots obviously targets women more than men.

Women use more toiletries so I don't really care about that. Also, far fewer men would bother with some of the crap like the weight-reduction rubbish that the girls seem to spend a fortune on.

But the offers targeted at the boys are amazingly short-sighted: half price razors is often all you get in the ACM.

My advice - make the most of the women's or unisex offers and exchange them for men's products at a later date.

If your OH is getting no offers on his card, make a few purchases on it - that seems to generate more offers (as they're tailored to your spending history).

Also, keep those complaint letters going to Head Office - they might eventually get the message.

how embarrassing...... im sure i was being followed and watched in my Boots today !!!! all the sales asst changed over tills as well !!!! but im not doing anything wrong.. i had a voucher set to use, so i added a couple of items eg boots cold remedies for 99p plus 100 points vouchers ect, used botonics 100 points voucher on the skincare, made up over £5 in total to pay after vouchers scanned so that i could get another set of vouchers, then done it all over again... twice !!!! lol !!! came out with 600 extra points from using vouchers from the mag and loads of face wipes and shave cream !!!
as you go in our store there is a shelf next to the atm machines that have loads of cheap suncreams and shampoo ect... worth a look if you are in Bognor.... no more vouchers left for me now and im off to Florida on weds next week... what am i going to do without a Boots fix ? wonder if there will be a different voucher when i come back in march ? have fun x x x
