I can see some MSErs are getting in a spin again with SAs who question their multiple use of offers i.e MSErs who take advantage of the glitches at Boots.

If you read ALL of the vouchers....the 250 points No 7 voucher, the 300 Vitamins points voucher, the 100 points Botanics voucher, the 100 points Cold voucher, the £1 off vitamins voucher, the £5 off No 7 voucher AND the £3 off hair voucher they ALL SAY THE SAME THING ALONG THE LINES OF:

"THIS COUPON CANNOT BE USED IN CONJUNCTION WITH ANY OTHER OFFER OR DISCOUNT"

Sure WE HAVE ALL TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF THE SAs NOT IMPLEMENTING THIS CONDITION but if some "eagle eyed" SA tries to do their job please don't try getting them the sack or ringing customer services in the hope of "compensation".

It is there in black and white for all to see so PLEASE accept it with good grace. One or two people kicking up a real fuss could result in Boots doing less and less voucher offers - think about the bigger picture and not just about your own points balance or how "aggrieved" you feel because your haul was not as good as it could have been.

I don't mean to sound harsh, but give the SAs a break !

Was at Boots, abbey centre on Saturday. Not a pick of No7 suncream or glossy locks to be found. I even got the SA to check in the drawer! I tried the botanics offer with a 40 mls serum bottle priced at a quid but it didnt work with the moisturiser. Not sure if this was a mini product or not it was sitting with all the other full size stuff. SA said it was only certain moisturisers that would work then wanted to give me the serum for free but pay for the 5.99 moisturiser, I dont think so!

Have any Belfast MSE'rs found any bargains in the city centre?

I would even ask those people who are thinking of taking back Botanics items/No 7 items that they got free for a refund/exchange to please think again.

SAs are not stupid - they know that you got them FREE and are now wanting to swap them for something that "you really want" by pretending to have an adverse reaction to it or pretending you paid full price for one item when you actually got six free !

SURE you might get away with it, but the matter will be discussed at team meetings, managers and stock control will know about it, it will get fedback to promotions people and in the end they will cut back on voucher offers because it eats into margins !!!

You got lots of items FREE - use them, give them away, donate them to charity but please don't go back to Boots and ask them to swap them for something that you really want. Harsh words that won't go down well with the "MILLITANT" here but again think of the bigger picture.

As a shop worker myself, I totally agree with BargainMad.:) We are more than aware of things like this happening. When you have people coming in day in and day out trying different ways of getting money,exchanges etc, we have seen every trick in the book. And we do feedback on it all to the 'Big Men' in the company so they do know what is going on.

I agree, use what you have bought, because if they become aware of everyone taking it all back then they could decide not to do it again:( and how do we get our Boots fix then?
