hardly any cheap sun stuff left
no sign of the 90% off but there is only a tiny bit up stairs at the back with christmas stuff left anyway !
might try deepdale tomorrow as still have 2 haircare vouchers left

on the plus side i finally spent the last of my £20 giftcard i bought to get the free beauty treatment ( which i never heard anything about again !!!)
it didnt scan no matter how many times the sa tried - they even tried to scan it after i helpfully told them " it never works you will have to type the code in "

  • today I finally got to go to boots..
wanted the shimmer lip stuff but 2 boots had none
so in the end i got:

    3 x glossy locks 5.50
    3 x Face serum 7.50
I x Lee Stafford hair straightning spray 4.99
    after deductions total 12.49
handed over haircare voucher &No7 voucher, so 4.49 to pay!
plus SA kindly gave me another set of vouchers!!
Daughter gobsmacked. off in seardh tomorrow for the Lip Shimmers and Body Butters!
  • Everytime I've done the 6 4 1 deal I've always been given another voucher back and this has been even on the 3 occasions I've only bought the £5.50 items so only paid 50p after the voucher. Think it's definitely up to the assistant cos my friend and I both went through the tills together yesterday and she had to pay £4.50 after the No. 7 voucher and I'd to pay £3.50. I got another voucher but she didn't.
    If I had known then what I know now . . .

    HI,

Just want to say I'd like to second the points made by Bargain mad re. taking stuff back - I don't think it is in the spirit of this website to try and deceive a store by getting more money back for something than we paid for it. We've had some great, genuine bargains as a result of the Boots offers and let's not spoil it.

On the same note I don't think it's ok to fake pregnancies in order to qualify for the Parenting vouchers. In my opinion, I see this as acting fraudulently rather than trying to save money genuinely. I know I won't be popular for saying this but just wanted to get it off my chest! This board can be great fun and we all do very well from it without having to be deceitful.
