  • OK! Just wanted to know who the MSE'er was in Boots at Birstall this morning, at about 12ish?!!! I was giggling to myself, as I walked past, and you were telling the assistant to 'just try it and see what happens' (scanning at the till!), as you were clutching your list!!!!
Nice to see and hear another MSE'er in the 'flesh'!
Hope you got what you wanted! I did!
    Well Done!!!!
    And weren't the staff great?!

Ha ha ha I saw one in Pontefract running around "I cant find any body bars..." "Lets give the suncream a go..." lol

Yes, I got this - it definitely works with the offer.

In my purple bag I have a voucher which is for 250 points on any no. 7 electrical item - but it says Rep. of ireland only. Since the £5 voucher no longer works with electrical items, and I fancy the eyelash curlers, I wondered whether anyone else has this voucher and has used it in the UK?

have you checked the back of the voucher?

I was wondering where eveyone was getting their 300 points on vitamins while I have a 450 point one for Ireland only, then when I looked on teh other side it was for the 300 points in UK. I had to go and buy some more vitamins then LOL:rotfl:

Thanks for all the tips etc on this thread - today I got:

    1st transaction:

6 x Glossy Locks Hair Spritz
1 x trevor sorbie freshen and shine spray
    used:
250 extra points from purple bag I got before christmas
100 extra points for trevor sorbie from machine
    £5 off no7
    £3 off haircare
1.49 to pay - used gift card I had from last year so paid no cash.

Girl on checkout said isn't it a great offer - she couldn't believe the tills let you do it and all the staff had been doing it - presumably why there was no other £5.50 products left.

Dropped that off in my car and went in again, had lots of £8.50 stuff so got:

    2x firm your body balm
2 x after sun shimmer and soothe lotion
    2 x energising facial suncare
also a couple of other bits = £1.58
used 2nd £5 off no7 voucher (used hair care part last week)
£5.08 to pay - used rest of gift card (4.51)
    cash to pay = 57p

different checkout girl and she commented on how great it was too. No more vouchers left but I didn't mind.

It was really nice the checkout people knew about it and staff had been getting stuff too but there was still some stock on the shelves (this was an hour before closing on a sunday) - just glad I moved so I now have space to store it all now ;)
