Pushy eBuyer - help!!!!

I have just sent an invoice to a buyer, and agreed collection in person following payment through paypal. I've never done this before but the buyer is now insisting he can only pick it up tonight (the auction ended 15 minutes ago), despite the fact I've politely suggested tomorrow night onwards would be more convenient for me.
Can anyone suggest what I should do now?

Just say that you have friends over and it isn't convenient.0

Thanks - I can't believe I'm feeling pressured into this! What is it with eBuyers at the moment? I've never offered collection in person, because I've read horror stories about the buyers somehow reversing the transaction / scamming the seller in some way. I've invoiced this particular person and then gently suggested that although they're obviously mad-keen to get the item, that it's really not convenient to pick it up tonight (just come off a late shift and I have an early shift tomorrow - it's now 9.45pm!). I've offered other evenings this week / weekend / and even dropping it off with them.
Now the buyer has come back and asked for tomorrow morning. Am I just being overly suspicious here? This person seems to want this item incredibly quickly, given that the auction only ended 3/4 of an hour ago.0 -
Perhaps its for EIDs birthday tomorrow  which he had previously forgotten :o and he's more frightened of her than he is of you?

If he wants to collect you are better accepting cash rather than paypal. He does sound a bit desperate & personally I'd be a bit suspicious. What item was it?0

It's a Mac Mini. Bid went for around £160. He just seems so insistent - but he's got great feedback, both as a buyer and seller. Turquoise star. I always try to see the best in folk I guess, but I can't see why he can't wait for a full 24-hours, so that the paypal transaction is completed and I don't get scammed!0 -
Showing the signs of a scam, Paypal for a collection and wanting to collect quickly.
Could just be an impatient buyer though.
I would have thought they'd have picked a more expensive item though.0 -
Oh no. So how do I go about this? How long should I wait to get the money through paypal?
I've put something along these lines 'I am on an early shift tomorrow morning and would prefer at least 24 hours between paypal transaction and collection in person, to ensure all goes smoothly. Bearing this in mind (and that it is now after 10pm) there is no issue with collection from Wednesday onwards, providing payment is made tonight. My other half can be available to hand over the item to you Wednesday / Thursday / Friday morning / or day, and I will be in from 6pm onwards this week should you wish to collect on an evening. If you would prefer the weekend, a time can be arranged. Failing this, we can deliver to you, if the day or time is convenient'.0 -
Have you had a look at what other items he's been buying.0
