Running a business from a residential property and not paying business rates? I guess that's what's being implied. ;)

Imply all he likes. The OP isn't running a business. He earns money through gaming lol

    2 VERY different things.

Best we all stop selling things on Ebay.

I am not running a business from a residential property either, I am a gamer - I attend tournaments in which I compete and win money and receive sponsorship from Intel, Dell, Alienware and Razer. I attend these tournaments around the world and don't compete from my house.

I wasn't agreeing, just suggesting what Kermit might have meant. :)

Even if you did, you still wouldn't have to pay a different rate of council tax.

Anyway, all that is waaaaaaaaay off-topic lol

O and to the OP, i might be jumping to conclusions here but im guessing alot of the 'traffic' is downloading and possibly illegal?! A letter to you ISP suggesting you think someone might be downloading illegally should reduce the traffic.

Out of interest what games are you proffesional at?!

I am not aware exactly what the traffic being downloaded is, but from what I can see when in their bedrooms just chatting etc its just things like BBC iPlayer and before someone jumps to another conclusion - we have TV Licences.

No problem at all, I play Starcraft ll "2" and World of Warcraft.
Starcraft "2" is extremely popular, especially in Korea and even has TV channels dedicated to people playing the game in Korea.

You also dont need a tv licence for iplayer.

Ive seen some of the competitions, cant remember which game but there were guys who flying over the keypad that quick theres now way you could see what they were doing, ive got "200 commands a minute" in my head for some reason!?

You must be pretty good, i can imagine competition is fierce. Congrats on the 'dream job' except not a massive fan those 2 saying that more of a console gamer.
