Orange iphone 4S :(

...the salesman available at the time said this NHS discount was no longer available. She decided foolishly to sign up there and then for a contract she could not really afford. ......they are duping a young girl into a very expensive contract for the next 2 years

And your daughter is a 18 y.o. adult, not a 'young girl'.
How about posting the full text from the back of the receipt? Also, just what the 14 day cooling off period actually covers and if it is only for online purchases why does it not say that on the back of the receipt? Or is this left open to give Orange a get out in cases like this????0 -
I had no problems with my contract with orange for my iPhone 4, but I would definately agree about their attitude! When I got my contract he recommended I also purchase an expensive £30 phone case to protect it, when I showed my concern about the price he said I would be paying for the quality. The next day the case had thousands of tiny scratches all over the screen cover (The case had a screen cover too) and it kept bubbling and sticking to the phone, when I took it in to try to get a refund the manager accused me swapping the case for another because of it's condition, I had hardly touched the case since purchasing, I even had my receipt and packaging with me. I Couldn't get a refund for the case at all.0

I take it the perks discount IS available on the iPhone 4 though right?
Where is there any information about this Perks Discount... Does it definately still exist? Everything I've found online is from back in April. Even the t's and c's Orange document I found states its valid until 30th September...CONFUSED.COM :undecided
The perks discount is available on the Iphone 4 yeh.
Some stores will give the perks discount on the Iphone 4s 32gb and 64gb as they have much more stock than the 16gb. Personally I think its wrong how they can change the T&C's but never mind!
I did take it to the executive office, but the lady who rang me back said that there is nothing she could do, apart from if I wanted the Iphone 4s 16gb now, I could go to the store, buy it normally and then she would have put a goodwill gesture of 10% off line rental for the life on the contract which was nice, however its not worth it as it would still work out expensive!
The perks offer is still on, they just havent updated the t&c's.0 -
hello all,
am new to this. but i wanted to tell my story. on october 13th, i rang orange and asked them if the nhs discount would apply to the iphone 4s and was told a categorical no. i thought fair enough, so i actually ended up buying one outright from apple on wednesday 27th october and was about to lock onto a very good o2 simplicity retention package. however a friend at work called me a moron for paying out that much as orange had changed the rules re their perks discount. that morning, on thursday 28th october, i rang numerous orange shops to find a local store that had one in stock and to clarify what the discount was. i can 100% honestly say that i have now a iphone 4s 32 gigabit which i paid only £80 for the hand set. to get it that cheap i had to sign up to a £46 tariff but with the nhs discount applied it makes it a mere £34.50. i was very happy with this and walked away a very happy customer. o2s retention guy i spoke to was a little embarressed after our conversation as there was nothing he could do to match what orange could offer.
there was one thing, as he was registering the phone and deal and contract online, it was causing a problem. when he tried to do it manually over the phone, the guy in the centre said the perk discount wasnt allowed with the 4s. however to be fair, i saw the official print out the staff had regarding the perk discount, and it applies for up to 5 friends and family. all you have do is go in with them.
as told by orange over the phone, stores are all franchises, so they can pretty much offer what they like individually
i hope this helps people.0 -

Thats still same as buying the handset out right and going on a sim only deal for £12/13 a month over 24 months.
I got the same phone from apple direct:
£600 iPhone 4s 32gb
T-mobile sim only deal
600mins
500txt
3gb data
1 Booster
for £5 a month
I found this the perfect combination.
Totaly cost over 24 months = £720
Whereas u will be paying £908 overall with possibly less data.0 -
Nice deal, but I don't think it is available for everyone.atlantis187 wrote: »T-mobile sim only deal
