for a week, or so they told me at CS today when I was getting a huge DTD on wine that they had left the old 3 for £12 labels on :rotfl:
the 3 for £12 and 2 for £10 offers finished yesterday (so they didn't get a repeat of last time when both the 25% and other offers ran together) but check out in your store 'cos some of those labels are still up! It was very lucrative today

same thing happened to me this morning, got the 25% off and then some dtd back as the other offer labels was still up. They paid me to take some wine away, it would be rude not to.0

Welll, the man who looks after the wine aisle in my store said there would be no more 25% offers and that they have had to stop the 5% on 6 or more bottles. (This is in Scotland and something to do with new alcohol laws and discouraging us to buy alcohol in bulk.)0

I never buy in bulk, I only buy the quantity for the best discount, so if 24 gives the best discount, that's what I buy!!0

The bucks fizz is £1.00 a bottle at the moment, which is half price on last year and the wine discount normally works on this too. (could work out 75p a bottle).0

boo hoo, no luck for me. Just back and no old SELs there, all gone!for a week, or so they told me at CS today when I was getting a huge DTD on wine that they had left the old 3 for £12 labels on :rotfl:

I love this site and all chums, but its making a dent in my bank account!!!

Does anyone know if any of the wines will price check with Asda please.0
 -
Thanks. How about meal deal wines, do you know of any that price check. All I will need then is a conditional spend moc, then my plan will be complete.0

No idea if this one price matches (other Gallos have in the past) but:
Gallo Merlot Rose (750ml)
T: £6.29
A: £6.46 BUT 3 for £10
6 bottles in T = 6 * 6.29 = 37.74 - 25% = 28.31
6 bottles in A = 2 * (3 for 10) = 20
If the same glitch works as last time (comparison done against full price in Ts and not with the 25% off) then you'd get back £17.74 in JTD having only paid £28.31 so £1.76 per bottle. 2nd worst case you get the £8.31 JTD and pay £3.33 per bottle (almost half price). Worst case scenario it doesn't compare and knowing Ts, this is the more likely scenario.
Anyone game? I've no idea if this is a nice bottle as I normally drink the Zinfandel or Grenache roses. There are other 3 for £10 wines but this is the dearest one and probably the only one I'd drink.
