orange and argos dont have stock.

I saw that on part of Orange, but here on shop.orange it shows it available and let me put one in a basket. £99 +£20 topup.

San Francisco supply does seem to be drying up, not surprising as for every one kept on Orange, a dozen must be unlocked and upgraded and it is a heck of a lot of phone for £100. Got mine from Tesco (instore, non online) It was overpriced but we had enough Tesco points to knock it down to an outlay of only £80 including topup.

I got the samsung galaxy apollo from Carphone warehouse £79.99 + top up. Good android phone for the money, originally on 2.1 (froyo) but samsung recently released upgrade to 2.2 via KIES software on laptop.

just switched to giffgaff too so £10 a month top up gets me 250mins and unlimited internet and texts.

    very happy with it

As someone's mentioned, the Orange San Fran is easily unlocked (you just download a program and type the IMEI code in.

I went onto GiffGaff, unlimited internet for £10 per month.

Don't think the Orange Monte Carlo is unlockable at the moment, though that might have changed.

    That's a good price. Thanks:T
  • Might be worth a look at the HTC Explorer - just being released by UK networks. Not top end Android but gets good reviews.

    Hope this helps, Bob
