The other phone you can look at is the Sony Ericson Xperia Mini. My wife has a small hands and she is very happy using it0

What's this "small phones good for girls" stuff... Had a HD2 and now a Galaxy S2 - both have a 4.3" screenNow free from the incompetence of vodafail0

I was looking for exactly the same thing, Android phone for under £150 for my cousin (girl) at the end I settled on getting the HTC Desire. Imo its better then the Wildfire. Thing is someone else might buy her a phone so the desire might end up going back on ebay.0

Very happy with my Orange San Francisco, which I've seen for £100.
Screen is excellent and it runs even better with later version of Android on it. I use 2.2.0 -
I also think the Orange San Francisco is a great phone for the price.
Can be easily unlocked and updated for free.0 -
have a look at this http://www.expansys.com/acer-liquid-metal-205669/
its got fair reviews I've had my acer F900 a couple of years with out any problems.(running windows)
I've got a sat nav on it that only takes a couple of minutes to fire up and is quick to respond when driving.
So if i was looking I'd be tempted.0 -
