Nationwide pays savers 6.25%

I opened this a/c last week but have just closed it. I only had a card come thru no other info or PIN.

I am going to open the Leek Building society one that is 7.5% from today for the regular saver.

Long term benefits of this account outweigh the Leek account IMHO. Depends on your objectives though...

My card has arrived. So I have sent a BACS payment off for £250 today, and set up standing order from March 1 using the details on the card. The account is not showing in my online accounts list yet though.

...takes upto five working days for it to show up in your online banking - lady at nationwide branch told me so: same for my account also

They have not updated it yet. My application has just arrived flyer with all the information says 7.5%

ive just opened a regular saver and ive transferred £250 from my flex account today.

can i transfer in another £250 anytime in august or does it have to be the 6th , ideally i would like to transfer on the 1st of august but may not be able to until the end of august.

i would like to do it correctly so i dont miss out on the top interest rate, any help appreciated
