Morning all
Overslept a bit this morning after staying up late with DS1 feeling dire and then waking me at 2am to say a tablet was stuck in his throat and then DS3 coming in to me at sometime with a bad dream. So another night with a child in my bed, so glad DH is away and I have space!
So far I've emptied the bins and fed the WM and the cats.
Shower next and then I need to decide if I'm taking the younger 2 to the shops.

To everyone here, for your ongoing encouragement......
Just wanted to say thank you so much for all the 'community spirit' RE flying and decluttering...today for the first time ever we are having a party at our house, for hubby's 50th.
The house is clean, the clutter is mainly gone. The spare bedroom is neatly stacked with things that needed to be out of the way.
Yes there are areas that are still shabbily decorated, yes naturally tha bathroom is nowhere near finished  and is a work in progress but the house is clean, fresh feeling and we are no longer ashamed to have people round. So for the first time ever we are having our friends over.
Thank you all. xxxDFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

Dammit..... yet another bod who's younger than me!
WARNING - WAFFLE ALERT; FEEL FREE TO SKIP
Well, yesterday afternoon was.... interesting! I got a call from the surgery to say that my GP, Dr F wanted to see me:eek::eek::eek: and could I attend at 16:30 - having recovered (partially) from total meltdown at having to use the phone (Mr LW answered it the 2nd time it rang - I red-buttoned it the first time - but they insisted on speaking to me personally), I agreed, as Mr LW was available to come with me.
Anyways.... 14:30, we went to the surgery to collect the prescriptions for meds for us both that I ordered a week ago; on into town, Mr LW headed for the barber's shop, while I wheeled myself to Superdrug for said meds; also dumped off a load of used batteries in the recycling bucket in Boots.
That done, I could've gone on to SnappySnaps to get my passport photo done (needs renewing) while I waited for Mr LW, but I'm afraid I lost my nerve, and went to wait for him outside the barbers.
Ages later, he appeared, still looking like a music teacher (something his Gran would've said, apparently:D) - he'd been waiting all that time, and still no nearer getting his hair cut, so he gave up and will go another day.
Off we trundled to get the photo done - apparently it has to be without specs now, so that was -er- interesting. Luckily, they didn't make me clamber out of the wheelchair.:o Got some drinking chocolate from Hotel Chocolat while we waited for those to be ready, then zipped back to the surgery.
Oh joy, Dr F is going off on maternity leave in a month, and her cover will be a male doctor.:( However, she's suggested that for my meds checks, I see Dr K, a lady doctor, and she'll have a word and let her know on Monday. Meanwhile, she wants me to have further blood tests:(:( and is going to try to convince the Rheumyto let me have my Plaquenil back, as my pain levels have skyrocketted. And she's also placing me under the care of the psych team for my anti-d's, so gods only know what that'll entail:( Apparently, they were talking about putting me on Seroxat, but I took that for a decade before, and it finally stopped doing any good. My fear is having to completely come off one anti-d before starting another - I've been through that before, and fear I won't survive the transition this time.:(:(:(:(:(
Got home from all that, went to do my accounts/expense spreadsheets, and the damn 'puter crashed, so I had to fish the backup out and recover the data from that. Good job I have backups of everything!
We gave up after that, and went and saw The Three Musketeers at the cinema; because I have a CEA card, Mr LW gets in free, as my carer.:money: Load of hokum, but we thoroughly enjoyed it.:o
I suppose I'd better include a Flying bit:D - I shall scrub the bathroom this afternoon (leaving the bath lift for Mr LW to move to clean under tomorrow, of course). He's contributed his bit today by replacing the skanky toothbrush glass!:rotfl:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Back again ...... Didn't do so well

I decided to spend a few minutes basting myself in body lotion and also decluttered the empty shampoo and conditioner bottles from the bathroom. Collected up stray bits of dirty washing including towels - now in kitchen. Replaced shampoo and conditioner from the stash.
I also found a bottle of body lotion that smells really horrid so I decluttered it to the bin! I thought why am I using this when I have nice lovely smelling lotion in my stash.
Right I will have a think about the next list!November NSD 1/10Weight loss - 7lbs from the 41 I need to loose = 34 to go0 -

Happy Birthday to Mr Triker!! I hope the party goes well... Oh wouldn't it be wonderful to be able to have people over without going into complete meltdown first!
Here is the next list

T/c to builder to say yes to garage conversion quote and to ask about a couple of other jobs.
He missed off the repair to the roof (very small), removing the flue pipe that is laid up there. I also have an L shaped bit in the kitchen that used to have a Double cupboard, wine rack and shelf unit and is backed by a low wall on the dining room end. A friend took out the wine rack and shelves so that the Tumble dryer could fit but there is no plug. The cupboard is not much use as I can't get down to see what is tucked in the side without a door. What I want to do is take it out so the new freezer can sit by the TD with new sockets behind. Then the empty gap could have drawers accessed from the dining room end. And lastly fit the worktop back on.
So anyone fancy HHC at 12.00?November NSD 1/10Weight loss - 7lbs from the 41 I need to loose = 34 to go0 -
Back now...

Couldn't remake bed as the new sheets that I planned to use smell funny so they are ready to wash! So instead I did this extra:
Emptied 1 x box and demolished the box
Emptied another large Tesco bag and packed all the stuff away
cleared a space for the printer in the study and moved it from the dining room floor into its new home
I am going to stop for a while now as I need more pain killers/antibiotics and T3 and then if I still have room time for lunch. mmm what to have .... I have some nice smoked salmon and salad.....November NSD 1/10Weight loss - 7lbs from the 41 I need to loose = 34 to go0
