Aim for one freebee a month, weither that be a sample, voucher to get something free or a win - its all good!
You have to enter to win, dont limit yourself to just one type of comps, try twitter, facebook, blogs, postals, local.
I am very happy with one win a month, and I had the skittles too!
This is a fun hobby, I enjoy participating. If it becomes an annoying chore for you, then you obviously have the wrong hobby.
Wishing you all good luck!

You could also try product testing from survey sites. Since June I have had a box of Yorkshire Tea, a 100ml tube of Sensodyne repair and whitening toothpaste and im currently waiting for some Nivea 48 hr ice deodorant. That Yorkshire Tea (think it was called ASSAM or something) was the best damn tea I have ever had as it was FREE and I got paid for giving my opinions on what I thought of the product.
I get mine from Brainjuicer through Valued Opinions. Not sure if you can join Brainjuicer direct since I get them through Valued Opinions never checked.2011-12: ITV Little England, Stargate Atlantis Blu Ray Box Set, Corsair keyboard/mouse, MP3 Player, DVD/BR x12.£50 John Lewis/Waitrose, £500 Pepsi Max it, Samsung Galaxy Tab, Jura Whiskey.
2013: DVD/BR x4, Claire Sweeney Bag, £100, Cat Boots0 -
Now I havent had any wins YET! but my thinking on that is that my luck is storing itself up for a really BIG win, so stay positive

I don't enter a massive deal, but still a couple of hours each night. Since December 2010 when I started my "fund" is at around £3k. I've had most luck with local newspapers. I've also won lots of tickets which if I can't use I give to my friends and I really enjoy that aspect of comping

When I was comping back in 2008 I had a really good run of wins, nothing huge but my biggest win that year was £500 cash and I had lots of small things handy for presents etc but I have restarted comping and find that lots and lots of people now enter so the volume of entries for some competitions must be huge and so only won 2 things this year.
Some on here do win lots and lots but I imagain they spend hours and hours entering to get that return. Perhaps have a run of entries and then take a break away and do something else for a while hopefully its a fun hobby rather than a chore but it can be easy to spend lots of time entering for very little return
Good luck0 -

Incidentally I did win a VIP day out at the Races, which ended up being worth about £1200 so that bumped the total up
That was a form you had to hand in, rather than an online entry, I think entries like this often put people off? 0 -
I have had 4 heart stopping moments. Landline ringing, (bt marketing) Mobile rang/ringing, (hosp ringing twice) Mobile text, (doctors reminder)
Was thinking could have been a IWIWIW moment!!!!
Cora's Skittles not received yet!
Come on Eileen or ITV or The Times or Take A Break etc..........0 -
If this forum was called "I Didn't Win! I Didn't Win!" it'd be a helluva lot duller but at least a million times bigger.
