EDF- nearly out of lock in contract.
I am in December going to be free of my 1 year contract with EDF. I talked to some canvassers yesterday and asked if they are going to put their prices up again. They said yes they are. I just want to know if it's worth me asking if I stay with them, will they freeze my prices as they are still the most competitive ?

what was your tariff? EDF have allready announced price rises (and also removed there own cheapest fixed deals) - since everyone has announced price increases - use your annual figures to find the best deal.0

They have only just put them up !!! I am on online saver 7 (whatever that means) I can't find out the yearly usage as I haven't been with them a year yet and we got a new boiler last October.0

OS7 finishes in december and its highly unlikely it`ll be put up before then - and the price didnt rise in november for OS7 - i moved from OS7 in july to fixed saver v2 (sep 2012( as it workd out cheaper than the new OS7 prices.0

Use a comp site with your estimated annual figures. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

Wouldn't it just be easier to get a better deal with EDF ? After all, they are the cheapest out there.
Again I don't know my annual usage because I haven't been with them for 12 months and we had a new boiler installed last October.0 -

And on what evidence do you base that without doing any comparative research?
It might be easier, but that does not mean cheaper-for the sake of 5 mins work on a comp site.
Use your estimated consumption if necessary-you'd have to do just the same to assess any supplier, including EDF.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

No need to be facetious
