Beth- hope everything goes well for DD and she gets the birth she wants, exciting time.
Bramble- made me cry too, hope the dogs get a lovely forever home.

We've been to football this afternoon, not a good result for us but never mind.DH fancies nipping to our local Italian for something to eat tonight,he got paid off a job yesterday so I'm not arguing.:DDS1 at GFs,DS2 sorted his own meal before we got back. He's been to see DGD this aft so he's in a good mood :)

Molly, that was why I felt down earlier in the week, being taken for granted in this house with 3 men. They have been trying a bit harder though, and I am still simplifying our meals so theres not as much prep/clearing up(Still dont think they've noticed though)

Finished my top,so I might wear it tonight ;)

Monnagran-thats what I tend to do when I get a big joint, the prices though:eek:Actually,I have a beef one in the freezer, might get that out and cook it tomorrow.

Cold today,DH just lit the woodburner as we havent had the heating on.
Anyway hope you all have a good evening xx

beth big deep breath and breathe, thats it, now calm down and don't panic babies will come when they darn well feel like it, the little new person will arrive at some point tonight so we are all looking forward to hearing how things have gone .
I have not long got in from Dds and am feeling rather tired.I have been there helping her 'de-tox' the kitchen of rubbish and junk which have accumulated. We did all the cupboards out and everything got washed and we ended up with 12 black bags of tut.She is so pleased though as she has next week off and it means that we can take the boys out and not feel bad that we're not indoors tidying up and house cleaning Her kitchen is pristine and she is chuffed to bits .She works fulltime and with four messy boys one husband and a teen age daughter who thinks the fairies tidy up her kitchen was really getting to her .So I have been there all afternoon washing up bits and bobs and helping to bin things that I keep telling her if you havn't used in 12 month you probably won't ever use.Her kitchen isn't very big and so although there arelots of cupboards they were all full to bursting. Not now though, and I left one very happy lady with a spotless kitchen and neat and tidy cupboards.I am now going to put my feet up and watch last Sunday's downton Abbey on catch-up t.v.
Hope everyone has a super evening
    cheers chums

    Oh dear oh dear,
Had a phone call from DD to say that the hosp have to check on her, normally the MW would pop out and check her but she's on holiday and no-one has bothered to get another MW to fill in, ggrrhhhh. DD asked me where the car seat for newborns was. I brought it home with me today to give it a clean (with stardrops ofcourse) OMG , DH then had to jump in the car and take it back to her, fortunately I had just cleaned it.
So DD2 & SiL2B are on their way to the hospital, if she doesn't have contractions whilst they are there they will let her go home, if she does then she will have to stay overnight. SiL2B will not leave her so I hope he doesn't have to sleep in a chair next to her bed all night. Bless him he's done a full days work, at least they were able to have the dinner I cooked them before they left.
Call it sixth sence or what but I deceided not to take anymore Morphine after my morning dose and to cook and sort loads of things out for them, spooky or what ??
We'll have our phones on with us when we go to bed.
Fed, bathed DGD and put her to bed at 8pm, later than usual but hey, lots going on here.
Thanks to all, I've taken your advice and continued to breathe.
Will update when I know more. I'm worried sick, happy and excited all at the same time. :D
