Hi all,
Woke up in a panic about money, not only christams, but sister wedding, MIL,s 80th doo, and a couple of other occassions we,ve been tied into - it all seems to be money out at the mo:(. Ended up moaning at OH as he,s said yes to a meal out with friends which will cost £50+ and inviting 20+ people round for a firworks party:mad: we really can,t afford it at the moment:mad: anyone else feel like they are drowning at the mo?
Anyway will distract myself with washing, cleaning etc today:cool:
Sorry for moaning
Have a fab day all xxNote to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

Morning all. I'm just about to try my first bowl of "raw porridge", allegedly it's very tasty and good for me but we'll see! Maybe this is older than old style but I have been trying to incorporate more raw foods in my day, mostly f&v to get more of the nutritional benefits out of them so I can stop taking vitamins without feeling like poop.
Then off to the post office, walk into china town/lidl and mooch around the shops. I don't really plan to buy anything but if I find something unusual that I like(cheap ingredients/spices, young coconuts, nice chop sticks or some interesting fish!) I will, but with a budget of £10
This morning I had pouring yogurt in the flask, have heated it up again and will leave it for the rest of the day to see if it gets any better. I'll try a batch with added milk powder tonight and if that doesn't work, I shall buy the easiyo! My austrian housemate had never heard of yogurt makers but said a few years ago they had a craze where you had a piece of yeast cake passed to you by a friend and you then used it to make a whole cake and passed some on to another friend. It sounds like some sort of sourdough cake maybe? I would love to learn some traditional german/austrian cooking but my housemates aren't into it, they prefer less stodgy meals.Living cheap in central London :rotfl:0 -

Grrr the predictive text on my iPad does my head in
Should be a taggie blanket, basically a fleecy blanket with lots of ribbon loops for a young baby to play with.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Morning all,
Had a good nights sleep lastnight because I'm back in my own bed, I never had an unbroken sleep in hosp. Why are hospitals so noisy at night ?
Woke at 8 this morning, that's a long lie in for me as I'm allways up by 6, perhaps it's due to the Morph.
LAMEWOLF, Yes I'm on liquid Oramorph same as you and Zomorph capsuals, they are working well fighting the pain but have had wierd dreams.
DH and I are off to see DD2 & DGD2 today, had DD in tears last night worrying about how cold the house is, her baby is due on Friday and DD& SiL2b can't afford to keep puting the CH on. DgD's bedroom has been down to 13c during the last few nights. DH is going to put a thermostat in so they can control the heating, we have deceided to pay their heating bills for the next 4 months as we can't bare to think of them being so cold during the winter. DH had a look in @rgos cat and saw some oil free heaters that can run for 10hrs costing 5p an hour, we are thinking of getting 2 for their bedrooms. DD has just phoned to say she & DGD have just had a bath and it was bliss geting out into a warm bathroom, we told her to keep the heating on.
Just read back and I'm rambling, Morph has a lot to answer for.
Going to go now as I'm not making much sense.
Brain working just enough to say
BRAMBLE, Hope your GDad improves soon.
BARGAINBIRD, How's your thumb today, best get to A&E Hun.0 -

Good Morning x
Bramble - Hope Grandad is doing ok x
Bargain Bird - Look after yourself.
Im in a grump again  Im feeling rather put on if truth be told. Not sure how to deal with the situation but I will have to tackle it.
Hope you all have a good day xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0
