    Afternoon All
I didn't have time to post yesterday, there were just too many things to get done.

Islandmaid I know exactly how you feel it is DH's parent's diamond wedding on Christmas Eve  and we are expected to put in to a kitty but we earn a tenth of what his DB and DS earn :( so we have had to cut back on Christmas big time this year, but luckily I have been stashing stuff for months so I really only have to get DH, DS and DD their main presents which will come out of the penny jar. Nephews and nieces are off the list and we are only buying for his Mum and Dad and a couple of elderly neighbours (I am doing them food hampers this year and I have most of the stuff that I need).
The kids have been told that if they want a firework party everyone has to bring fireworks, drinks or food.
Beth sorry to hear that you have been in hospital ((((Hugs))))

Well it sounds like the washing machine has finished again so I had better go and put it on the line

  • Afternoon all,

It's a beaut of a day here!! Sun is shining and it's not too cold either :j Washing on line should be just about dry now so will swap over in a min.

DD had dance class this mornin, so I took some ebay parcels 2 po (did rather well last night and majority of people paid within 10 mins of auction ending) popped into town 2 grab some books and little gifts she had seen in wh smiths that she wanted off santa, then the food shop at Mr M's. Shouldn't need to go near a shop now for the next week except for milk and maybe fruit.

DD has come home from dance with a headache so she's on the sofa with a blanket watching wallace and gromit :)

Just had bacon and mushroom sandwich for lunch, was delicious and pizza & wedges for tea with abit of xfactor

Well I'm off to peg out the washing, then do some more listing on ebay :j keep those pennies coming in I say

Have a great day all and hugs to everyone xxx

    Afternoon all

Molly hope the grump doesnt last too long....life's too short. hugs if you need them

Joints have been sore the last few days so i've just been pottering today and making good use of the kids to load washing machine and fold clothes...they have been rewarded with crisps and sweets for tonight!

Signed up for the company pension scheme yesterday and while talking to the pensions guy he told me that one of the benefits of my employment is that if im ever too sick to work long term I get 6 months full pay from my employer and then 75% of my salary until I either a) get better and return to work or b) dont get better....in which case my DH would get 4 x my salary as life insurance. Must say its a great comfort to know its there although I hope never too need it!

Meal plan done for next two weeks, shopping ordered for fridays delivery, tomorrow's dinner (hot mustard spiced beef casserole) in the slow cooker. Breaded chicken, pasta in tomato sauce and garlic bread for tonights dinner.

Have a good weekend all x

Grump beginning to dissolve - many thanks for the hugs. I have devised a cunning plan after taking advice from Kid's Dad and DD:p

We have just got back from a trip out to Burford. There is the most wonderful wood shop there an we had been promising ourselves a mirror for about 10 years. Well today we finally could afford it:T:T:T

Really cross with T£sc0 home food shopping service. This is about the fifth week I have had problems and had to complain. Im giving them a rest now and might try Sainsbobs.

Hugs to Candygirl. I know how you feel as I suffer from anxiety. Have you looked at the NoMorePanic website? I found it really helpful xx
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

OMG  OMG  OMG DD2 has just phoned to ask if we can have DGD2. DD's waters have broken. DH & I went to see her today, I took them all a cooked dinner for tonight, I managed to sort out her birthing bedroom, brought home all her washing / ironing and sorted out their heating. DSiL2b was working today, he's been home 20mns then wooosh water everywhere. Baby isn't due until Friday.
Problem is DD had a call from Midwife centre to say if things happen tonight there is NO midwife on call. She will have to go to hosp. DD is doing Hypno Birthing, not ideal to do in a hosp. omg  omg
I'm keeping calm but bloody panicking

Will update when I can breathe again
