  • Glad my kids aren't running round anywhere near your chimney then - there'll be some seriously unpleasant compounds there.

    Still, you probably won't be affected sitting in the house, so it'll be okay then - don't worry about anyone else...

    Because obviously the smell / smoke from burnt flatpack varnished furniture is the major moral and health threat to today's youth...

  • Can't honestly see much point in trying to tell you about the poisons produced by burning this sort of stuff, as you're past listening by the sounds of it.

  • Painted wood can be incinerated industrially - temperatures in their kit are much higher than a domestic stove, and break down any compounds to their component parts. Stack filters take out any particulates left behind.
