What kind of laptop am I looking at then to play online games such as club penguin etc?? Also after something that is reasonable in size and not massive..... Havent a clue what im looking for. Thanks

A Netbook will be fine, just not that rubbish to which you linked before. :)

The games that you mention just need to be able to run Flash.

    Tell me more about the ZG5, including the P R I C E.

    Emm my five cents:
I wouldn't buy any pc for small kids. Also playing on such small pc's will impact your kid eyesight. Consider that! Buy used ps2 for him and it will be enough.
  • I am using a netbook now (packard bell DOT SE) and just checked the game specified, Penguin club, and due to the size of my screen, I have to scroll left and right because my screen isn't physically big enough. This is on 1024 x 600 as well, not tried 800 x 600.

Flash player is slightly laggy as well... I'd go for a laptop with minimum of 15" screen. Ram should be 1GB or above. HDD is not much of an issue because you can buy USB HDD if you need the extra storage. Processor type and speed, you could go for a Celeron, but ideally you'd be better off with any speed dual core processor.

    How is it on 800 x 600?

Perhaps we should refurbish the family PC and get one, at least half decent, laptop.
  • Thanks for all the advice everyone...Im going to look online and see what deals I can find on new laptops/netbooks.

Also, give us the make and model details for the family PC. Perhaps something can be done there.
