Connection Problems

Hi all,
For some reason i can no longer connect to msn messenger, windows update or sign into ebay. I sem to be able to connect to everthing else that i try..
I havent made any changes to the internet settings and its driving me nuts.
Any ideas pls help!"!:o

ISP? Do you use a router? Any firewall software? Done a virus and spyware scan? etc etc

Try restaring any router and doing some scans also disable any firewalls you have as they could block things like msn and external proggies that use the net

Yep sorry, i am on tiscali i use wireless via my router.
I have done a full virus check with avg

i had this a while ago...our windows had somehow unregisterd itself!
when you do a diagnose problem do you het any error messges?

i dont get any error mesages at all. This is really puzzling me

we couldnt access some things like MSN,hotmail etc or secure sections on some websites!! luckily the error message we got was fixable...
not a techie so hopefully this will bump it for you so someone who maybe able to help will see

just had to turn off my router for a few minutes to get connection back on
