My poor little daughter's bed is infested with cat fleas. I'm boil washing the bed linen and throwing out the pillows but what can I do with her treasured toy Huskies?

Put them in the freezer? Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0

Ban the cat from the room and the fleas will go. Put something with fipronil (such as frontline but effipro is cheaper) onto the cat and they will all die soon.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

Frontline was the problem. The fleas were resistant to it. We've had to apply Stronghold from the vet. The cats are now free of fleas but the house isn't.

I moved into a bare flat that was infested with fleas. Its vile. A nice man from the council came out and fumigated it. You have to stay away for a few hours then its fine.0

i ordered 2 tins of indorex off amazon to treat our house after i returned off holiday to find a major flea infestation:eek:
we tried lots of stuff from wilkos etc but nothing worked untill i tried the indorex, it is amazing and not seen one since:j
i also treat the cats with frontline too.
you just have to hoover and wash anything you can really then spray everything in sight.
we had a lot coming from somewhere in front room (leather sofa and laminiate) and dispite everything i tried they still wouldnt go .untill i used the indorex.
its soposed to last a year and actually mutates the flea so they cant breed or something:o***MSE...My.Special.Escape***0 -

Gosh, is it the warm weather or what as it seems that the fleas have taken over???
We have 2 cats and for the past 15 years, I've ever only seen 1 live flea 10 years ago. The cats were treated promptly and there has not been a problem since! We have not even treated our cats for the past 2 years as there has not been a need. Until now. They have both received 2 doses of Frontline (one of them 3) and still I'm seeing live fleas on the cat. Their bedding, etc is changed and washed in high temperature, stair and bedroom carpet hoovered. Still the prolem persist. We're not talking about an infestation yet, but Indorex has been ordered from Amazon and off to Boots tomorrow for Acclaim. And probably to the Vets for Stronghold.0
