gotta go check rightmove now to see the latest price falls. I may be gone for some time

It's no good hoping falls have happened ....... you are wasting valuable buying time - each day is probably costing you at least £150 in increased values!!!

It's a matter of public record the date you joined HPC.

Of course its an accepted truth that the figures lag.
So naturally we have to look a bit further ahead to find the prices that truly reflect house prices in mid december 2006. :)

Here are the Edinburgh prices since then:

Thanks champ. But its the same series of statistics I'm refering to.
    Average prices, not so interesting.

City centre, or 3 bed semi's. Both seem viable options.
Still haven't posted the figures for the 3 bed semis I see. ;)

Bleat all you wish, I'll let the above facts speak for themselves.

Not sure about the bleating. But I'm quite capable of comparing one relevant number to another. And heres what they most certainly show.
Edinburgh city centre. 12K drop since march 2006. 60K drop since peak.

Edinburgh 3 bed semi. Up by a whole 3 grand since march 2006. Down 45K since peak.

    :rotfl::T

Come on the Rinoa/Columbo. How many more itterations do you want to go through. I know you like to try and pretend that you've not received an intellectual spanking.

But the fact that you insist on banging your head against the same brick wall time after time after time after time. It makes it a gift that keeps on giving.

Where do you get your £12k drop for Edinburgh City centre from March 2006. The table on post 286 clearly shows 2006 Q1 at £224. Latest figure is £230k. Of course the real drop is more because you joined HPC 4 months earlier.

Anyway, like I said on the other thread, you used to be interested in Edinburgh City centre. All of a sudden you're contemplating 3 bed semi's. Would that be because you've looked at the data and chose the one showing the least rise since you joined HPC. :rotfl:

But even your newly chosen 3 bed semi's have risen a tad since Dec 2005 ~ and lets not forget the 6 years of squandered rent. How much is that, another £48,000? :T

And the 4 month lag you claim from joining HPC is just your typical geneeresque creative accounting we all know you're capable of. You joined HPC in Dec 2005.

In any case you claimed to be mid thirties 2 years ago. You must be at least 37 now. Clearly you could have bought years before joining HPC. Doh!
If I don't reply to your post,
you're probably on my ignore list.

You are going to have to let the sellers around here know that house prices are increasing in value by £150 a day, because prices are constantly dropping around here. (maybe they didnt get the memo)

Are you trying to hypnotize me via the internet:)
