Jimmy allegedly lives in Oldham, here is a nice looking terraced house up for auction with a guide price of £29,950. It's close to Alexandra Park which is a lovely Victorian Park in Oldham. The area has a large Asian community with some great Curry Houses. :)

While I enjoy Jimmy's posts and find them amusing, I don't for a minute believe he is from Oldham. I have pals who live in Withenshawe (the poor man' Moss Side) and they don't denegrate their area to the extent that Jimmy does with Oldham. As someone who has lived in run down areas, you find that there is a lot of civic pride - you get enough outsiders taking the p**s about your home without doing it yourself. Besides, anyone who has been to Oldham will know that it's not a hotbed of drugs and prostitution.

Anyway, nowt against you Jimmy lad, but I just want to go on record that I'm at least one person who you haven't fooled. :)

I agree - I think Jimmy lives with his Mummy and Daddy still .... waiting for the housing market to beg him to buy a place of his own and for when he is 18 and can buy. ;-)

Well, house prices have seen a rise as reported today ..... the time for bargain homes has long passed.

Don't go overboard with the cartoons, you don't want to be PPR'd again. :D

So let's look at the ESPC edinburgh:

    cityofedinburgh.jpg

A £40k increase since Q4 2005. And you could have bought much earlier than that as you admitted to being mid 30's 2 years ago.

And all that rent too. Doh.

But hey, you,ve still got that 'crash' to celebrate. :rotfl:

You appear to be a poster who thinks that the appropriate response to his spurious claims being completely discredited is to simply repeat those spurious claims again and again.

With bigger and more humorous fall back positions each and every time. (december 05, no Q3 05, no 2001 :T)

Then again, You've been at it for 5 to 6 years now, so why would you change now.

I really have to wonder who you're trying to kid Columbo/Rinoa.

Certainly not me. I keep telling you how it really is, and I keep being proved right.

Can't be any impartial objective posters. They
will read through our correspondence and note that your claims have been eviscerated.

One can only imagine that you really really feel the need to kid yourself. Which is a sad state of affairs indeed.

It's a matter of public record the date you joined HPC.

Here are the Edinburgh prices since then:

Whether it's Edinburgh suburbs or Edinburgh centre, prices have rises £40k or £30k respectively.

Bleat all you wish, I'll let the above facts speak for themselves.
If I don't reply to your post,
you're probably on my ignore list.

Plenty of drugs and women for sale in Mayfair, London or indeed Prestbury in Manchester.

Apologies though for thinking you were in Oldham, that's percy. Your posting styles are very similar - probably as you are both frm the same region - and so I got mixed up. Just which Manchester slum are you from?

I don;t really know the area but wondered if it was Chatsworth.

Thats twice you have presumed im a manc.;)

I have plenty of civic pride, i dont hide from the fact im from a rough area, Lots of people around here do though (never understood that). when asked where they are from they will say a nicer town up the road. I much prefer to say im from 5hitsville and when the look of disdain comes, thats when my civic pride kicks in.
