Parcel Force 48 hours - Northen Ireland?????

Hello All.

I posted an item weighing 8kg last monday to Ireland. The guy from parcelforce48hours came and collected It.

However -Ive just had a email to say that the winning bidder has not got the item yet.

When i go to the parcel force online tracking i enter a number and get into the tracking page but there is NOTHING mentioned about my shipment, ie collected, dispatched!

Please help

Best thing to do is to give Parcelforce a call and quote your tracking number. That way you get answers right away.
    I know nothing

Er, that the Royal Mail charge you for a service and then don't provide it?

It happens hundreds of thousands of times a week........it's the price we pay for allowing them a monopoly on the postal service.

Any advice that you receive from me is worth exactly what you paid for it. Not a penny more or a penny less.

When you say "Ireland" do you mean "Northern Ireland"? Otherwise it's a complete mess as ParcelForce 48 is UK only.
    Can I help?

  • Thanks, does anyone know what happens now? - Will I get the parcel returned or what?

The thing is i was going through the online payment process, i selected 'prices' then it asked me to input the postcode - so why didnt the system tell me that i could not send my parcel via parcelforce 48 to northen Ireland?

Ah ok best give them a call. I assume you booked direct not via one of the cut price brokers? If it was a broker you might have to via them.
