Hi Nora, I've been lurking on your diary for a couple of weeks now and enjoying your positivity and your love of things woollen (although I'm a crochet-er). Just wanted to say hi and I hope you're having a good day. :hello:
    Jacqui

Ooo, a new friend to play with! *fights off Missus Freeby* gerroff, woman!!

Welcome to the good ship loon, Flev - lovely to have you aboard! :j

Consider yourself pre-warned that it can get a bit hard going around here too (usually when my chocolate supplies are low), and very silly (nothing to do with me...nosireebob...s'everyone else...).

I'm just learning to crochet (as in, have needle and yarn, can make basic chain before all ends in tears....), so I'm envious of anyone who already has the craft under their belt!

And I'm having a very twinkly day thanks - back up in the Midlands this week visiting lovely friends and catching up on all sorts (including buying a load more yarn...and going to my old class to learn more crochet skills..). Couldn't be better. Well, not once I open that bag of counters just there...:D

Oh - poor you! I'd send hugs, but I'm a little afeared they may hurt! And with everything going on, you managed to finish crocheting something?? You.Are.a.Craft.Goddess!! *bows down in awe* I salute you! :D
  • Crochet hooks are VERY useful. Can also be used for de-gunking sinks. Look at this one I prepared earlier!

*uses (clean) hook to remove counters while others are distracted by revolting gunk extracted from sink, and exits quickly*
Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).

*snort* nice try pal...but I have my counters now well-guarded, and my extra large knitting needles at the ready to fend off any counter-thieves...en garde! :D

*suddenly wishes she'd got one of the shorter and lighter needles to swash and buckle with*
