    just realised i baked a cake on sunday that hasn't even been touched, guess that sums up how bad i've been this week. going to have to assess the situation and possibly freeze it.

    That's not 'bad' that more along the lines of being declared dead!! :eek:

    And you still aren't really up to devouring it? Def no work for you until Monday. Surely you know that age old saying - let thy cake be thy doctor, and shalt not returneth to worketh too soon(eth)....:D

    Ohhhhhh I haven't heard that one before.

    I shall search my cupboards for any uneaten cake, declare myself unfit for work and when I asked the reason why I shall quote Missus Knitty's worldy knowledge.

    Although the chances of finding any uneaten cake in my house is like the bankers saying 'No, I shall not take my bonus this year and will work for a normal wage like the rest of the world' :rotfl:

    hi Nora, have kept meaning to pop by and say Mr LT has told me i can knit him a hat, he'd prefer one with the ear flaps though. (so he can wear it to bed and it won't come off during the night - yes he is old very very old lol) any idea where i can find a pattern? I've told him i'm definitely not knitting it in black though

    Woo ha ha! *rubs hands in evil glee*

    I tend to stick to two main sites for patterns;

    http://www.knittingpatterncentral.com/directory/mens_clothing.php

    and the ever-fab Ravelry:

    https://ravelry.com/

    Both are free - sign up, and you should find what you need.

    Hth.

    Hi Nora, I've been lurking on your diary for a couple of weeks now and enjoying your positivity and your love of things woollen (although I'm a crochet-er). Just wanted to say hi and I hope you're having a good day. :hello:
