Don't rise to the bait - Z knows full well it's best not to come between a woman and her chocolate (leave it alone Z...).
Anyway, sorry to have been absent for a couple of days - headed back up oop north (though not quite Freeby's level of north) to pick up some of my [STRIKE]junk[/STRIKE] very important stuff left behind during the main move.
No access to t'internet, so no ability to check in....and just look what you all get up to on my post while I'm away!! *shakes head*
Z - you scared her, so you can clean that mess up!! *hands over mop and bucket*
Oh it was lovely to be back up there - realised that one of the reasons I love it so much is because everyone up there is so positive about looking forwards. When I'm back here in the town I grew up in, with friends and family who've known me forever, it's wonderfully safe when you need it...but it's also much more about living in the past. Mention something new or different and the general attitude seems one of "ooooo, don't know about that dear...let me list the pitfalls of your idea/opinion/directions to the pub". Suggest you might want to do something, and (direct quote coming here...) you get a "yes, but you have all these ideas and never do anything - to be honest, it's quite boring to listen to" response. Not from everyone, of course...but there's a theme and a feeling of a demotivational cycle going on.:(
Wow - sorry - even depressed myself there. Here, have a chocolate *offers the bag of counters*:o
Depressed myself while away as well, and there may have been *coughs*quiteabitofspending*coughs.
Anyway, moving swiftly on....on way home from the north, called in on old and very positive friend and we've sorted out the first part of my on-line shop.... it's not there yet (I've got to sit and design the website), but how cool is that??!!:j
Lots of knitting going on obviously, and now have my glass painting supplies with me again, which is excellent....
Tomorrow I'm sitting down with the finances again and working out exactly what damage I've done, and picking it all up again....
In the meantime, Freeby - spend woman, spend!! I'll admit that i gave serious thought to neatly folding and throwing a towel...but I say 'no!' 'NO!' *shakes fist* and thrice 'Not on your nelly'!! Tomorrow I'm aiming for #NSD 5 *stands tall in Xena Warrior Ferret-style*.
