Good luck with the viewings.
I once made the mistake of ignoring the doorbell after having a similarly laid back approach to viewings of the v. compact bedsit I was moving out of. Imagine the horror on the landlords face as he discovered the reason I'd ignored the doorbell was because OH and I were... I'll leave that to your imagination.... the sight that greeted the landlord didn't leave much to his imagination.

Morning verse
Well, payday has arrived and I've spent the last hour wandering around checking emails, doing surveys, reading DFW diaries...but the time has come to log onto my bank account and see what's turned up from work.
I'm relying on the bank rather than payslips as work have mucked up again, and I haven't received one...eventually they'll catch up with themselves but it does annoy me.
Righto, before I digress into a useless winge on the things which annoy me (there are many, and they are varied...:D), I'm off to check the bank account.
Back in a mo.

Well, are you smiling or doing an impression of a very angry person being very angry?Free by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -

I'm back!
Sorry about the delay - got caught up in the post arriving, and a lovely email from a work colleague.
Bank account held a lovely little suprise as I forgot I had two weeks of full pay before the half pay kicked in this month.
The additional amount nicely covers my wander into the overdraft facility, so I am smiling lots - see::):)
With a quick bit of calculations, I reckon I have about £150 to cover food, petrol, eating out, general Decemberyness (is too a word). That's a lot of money, so it shouldn't be a problem....right?.... *tumbleweed rolls across the thread*
I still have the overdraft as the final utility bills are going to end up in there. I know it's not great, but at least I can sort of cover them and once settled in January I have enough money each month to pay them off within the first quarter of the year (or sooner if work gets sorted or I get anything decent back from the deposit on the house).
In the meantime, I'm not touching it at all for the next few days - let's just get the direct debits out of the way, update my food plan, and stick the Christmas tree up (in my defence, I've only got fourteen days before it goes into storage...plus I need somewhere to put the presents while I pack...:D).
Righto, off to do other stuff... and since I didn't get round to buying the buttons I wanted for the new stuff I've knitted, it'll get done tonight...expect piccies later this evening!
Have a good 'un.

lovely photo's i've got a whole box of tag shapes somewhere which i'm going to make into decorated tags, the plan was to do a load and leave them in a basked in the community room at my folks and then just charge £1 for 10. I may just get around to doing that this year coming once i've settled into the craft room.
sounds like you've got your finances sorted for this month, and don't feel bad about using the Overdraft for leaving utilities etc it's a non whimsical use so is permitted - not that you need our permission in the slightest!
can't believe you're using moving as an excuse to put up your tree, i'm using a potential january move as an excuse to NOT decorate this year - bah humbug0 -
Ahhhh, but I'm officially an all year round Santa's elf...so I don't really need the excuse to put up the tree.
It does, however, always spark a huge house clean and clear which is desperately needed in advance of the move...0
