'Mornin Nora
You were super busy yesterday! Did I manage to hold onto the rain for you?
You are moving in 3 weeks? Wow, just before christmas?! Very brave- good luck to you!
The living room floor is half up- but we did manage to re-put up our curtains and wall lights after the wallpapering last weekend so that was good. Tonight- the rest of the floor! But first, one job I hate more than others- I have to go buy something to wear at the christmas party next saturday. *shudders* I hate clothes shopping.
*edit* ps. I ordered that paint set yesterday0 -
laura i'm with you on the hating clothes shopping but now i have a good excuse not to go - we're moving house so need all our pennies.
thanks for the fingers crossed Nora0 -

Is your offer on the house with the open day?! OOOo *claps hands excitedly* that's just fab. I shall have a celebratory biscuit in your honour!! *scuttles off to harass the boaster biscuits*0 -
lol yes the offer is on the house with the open day which is now not going ahead so we won't need to boil cabbage or put prawns in the curtains. lol hope you enjoyed your biccie0

*puts prawns back in the fridge* that's just brilliant - so pleased for you.:D0 -
they're much more useful in a sarni (after the fridge) than in curtains which i would end up buying anyway0

Morning 'verse :wave:I hope all is well with lurkers and regulars alike.We've been seeing some amazing achievements around my little circle of diaries, for example:
- Lemon Tree is turning into a property magnate;
- Freebyfifty has not only achieved every NSD target she sets, but has cracked the secret of shopping to a limit, and making ebay cry;
- Moo2moo has managed to retain a level of her sanity despite great temptation all around her to pick up a wet haddock and start belting people with it; and
- Banwa has managed to become the destroyer of white goods...There's been loads more across these and other diaries...but for now, back to me!
As for me - well, tomorrow is payday and I've made it here with 11 NSDs, relatively minor overspend into the O/D, and certainly way off the limits of my overdraft, credit cards etc. which is unheard of in at least a few years. Thank you everyone for your support and company along the way this month.:happyhear
I've also 'lost' (read 'drunkenly cut up') the Next account card and one of the credit cards - making it a tad difficult (though not impossible I guess) to spend on them. In fact, the Next account is being closed - just haven't sent the letter yet *note to self*
Today is another busy day with packing, cleaning, tidying and other stuff - including some spends, one of which is a posh button for another almost completed knitted prezzie. I'll post a piccie tonight once it's all done.
Today is also the potential start of viewings. No news from the letting agent, but I said I'd be ready and I shall...albeit in a 'cardboard-boxes-went-to-war-with-clutter-which-went-to-war-with-knitted-prezzies-which-went-to-war-with-painted-glass' type way!! Let's hope any potential renters aren't neat freaks....
Anyway, better get on. As you go forth into your day, just remember our motto -"Every penny's a prisoner!!"
