:wave: Mornin' verse
Like many other MSE-ers, I'm at that point in the month where I'm frustrated not to be able to do any proactive debt paying (9 days to pay day...), and I wasn't feeling overly motivated to do hard graft MSE-ing...until I saw my spends drifting upwards towards the end of last week....:o
...hence the now infamous drunken card cutting evening (thanks again to the lovely Mrs K - and no, Z, I don't think she was lurking on this forum...but you never know...*looks over her shoulder*).
But then I started this morning by reading Freebyfifty's diary, and Banwa's, the flylady thread, and all the others I'm subscribed to (you know who you are) and I'm completely inspired once again by you all - so thank you.
With that in mind, I've decided to concentrate on the flip side of MSE-in - gaining some control over yourself and your environment...
Of course, this requires lists....many, many lists....like others around here, I love a list....*claps hands in glee*. And to get us started, here are the frog-like things I've been avoiding and shall now get done today:
1. Check over original house inventory and make sure there's nothing huge likely to impact on my deposit (other than the carpets*);
2. Finish and post letter to Letting Agent handing in notice on the house;
3. Price up all glass etc for my craft stall;
4. Pack away glass (rediscover kitchen table);
5. Quick tidy of living room;
6. Finish one cross-stitch xmas present;
7. Eat chocolate *salutes in the direction of Freeby in Scotland*
Already started on number 7....
Righto, be back later to update.

Update:
1. [STRIKE]Check over original house inventory and make sure there's nothing huge likely to impact on my deposit (other than the carpets*);[/STRIKE] Inventory checked - reminding me that they sent the wrong inventory, and never sent over the correct one...ho hum...Carpets were ruined by very sick dog the weekend before she died. Professionally cleaned, but they're toast....though after 4 years in situ, I may get lucky on the old fair wear and tear point...
2. Finish and post letter to Letting Agent handing in notice on the house; Almost done...
3. Price up all glass etc for my craft stall;
4. Pack away glass (rediscover kitchen table);
5. Quick tidy of living room;
6. Finish one cross-stitch xmas present;

I am pathalogically averse to lists, as my mother made a career out of them, except she never actually did anything on them...she would write them, and they would be sooooo long and be very overarching goals that she didn't know how she would do it all, so she didn't, and ate cheese sandwiches instead.Pay off as much as you can in 2012 challenge No. 64: 328.75/2,5000 -

Morning 'verse :wave:
Thank the Lord for being able to touch-type - because I'm really not awake enough to open my eyes properly...as evidenced by the fact that I just managed to post this update before actually writing anything in it!!
Anyway, Dot is right about lists - didn't get an awful lot done on mine, and for no good reason, so taking another run at it....

Added two more little cross-stitches to the list as they all need to be done this week for me to keep up with 'Operation Blue Peter Present' *reaches for the sticky-backed plastic*.
Fingers and toes crossed (yes, I know, makes crafting difficult), this should all help me collect my next NSD today....
Righto, off to grab a cup of tea to wander round the forum with - and then to the cross-stitch pile!
Have a good un'

Morning :wave:
I'm jealous. I love love love cross stitching but never seem to have the time. I have done many and they are all dotted around the house and (sadly) up in the attic
Dedicate a few stitches for ole freeby who mourns her cross stitch bag like a dear old friend.Free by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -

My circular knitted socks look like I did them with my fingers crossed...and they might just fit if I keep my toes crossed (((sobs into brew as half her hobnob has just sunk to the bottom of it))):('Forget injuries, never forget kindnesses' - Confucious0
