Sorry you're sobbing - but your hobnob trauma just made me laugh out loud...so I have a soft spot for what is clearly now a very soft biscuit. I am clearly a very bad person!
Socks are most certainly not something I ever intend doing...they'd have me going all Buffy with the sharp pointy ends of the circulars....so no matter what your socks look like, I consider them an artistic marvel, and bow down in awe to your skill.
