I'd send him to you but erm...nope I'm just too selfish, :o a good dive buddy is hard to find, a good dive buddy who cleans and massages is a near impossibility!

I have to be selfish he's sooo much more than just another dodgy squddie mate, lol, can't risk him escaping before I've got bored and tried to drown him. ;)

    Afternoon dear reader....

It's been a while since we curled up on the sofa with a cuppa and time for a chat. I've been lax in my attentions - for which I apologise, and hope you'll forgive me....

For my part, I've missed you all something chronic - but I'm back, and here to stay for the next little while.

Not to go into details, but a huge and deeply unpleasant row with an aunt over the weekend sees me homeless once again (albeit with a streamlined family - which will be very MSE come next Christmas). Since I've been trying to move into that place since this Christmas just gone, I think we can finally conclude that Kent just isn't my county!

So, having trekked over the Dartford toll 4 times in the past 24 hours (and without even a sniff at Bluewater or Lakeside shopping malls, which is just rude...rude, I tell you!!), I had time to realise that everything of mine which isn't already in storage has now been moved around and shuffled so much that I honestly don't know which garage, house or car anything is in (incidently, has anyone seen my razor...my legs look like Cousin It!). And I'll telll you that it's really got me down.

This morning, however, I decided that enough was enough - and that I'm forever reminding people that we make our own luck etc. etc., blah, blah...and took myself off down to a local storage company. After a lovely chat and a cuppa with the ladies in the office, I'm now the proud 'tenant' (I did check, they won't let me put a bed in....) of a small lock-up for the next few weeks.

Half price (ticking my MSE box), and with enough room for me to sort, repack, and - importantly - work out what can be sent off towards ebay. I know many would see it as a waste of money - but I'll tell you that just a couple of hours after really hitting a bit of a 'woe is me' wall, I'm back up and running again. Motivated to get everything sorted within the 8 weeks I've paid for, and to get my ebay clicky fingers going again.

So, yes I'm back at mum's - but suddenly it really does feel more like a launchpad rather than a hideaway, and I'm going to be just fine.

Oh, and of course, in the meantime, I've set up Nora's Thoughts...and people keep buying stuff. Next round of parcels in the post today - there really isn't an awful lot which can't be fixed by sending people nice things in the post....especially when you've been paid to do it!

Hugs to all - will now start the rest of the diaries....what have you all been up to?!!

Nora do you do special requests? My housemate needs a new lilly vase but she only likes black and bright pink. I was meant to message you yesterday to ask, but I forgot oops! It's her birthday today and I completely forgot even though we had a bbq. But she says it's ok to get it to her late if it's going to be handmade :)
