HI

Im new to this area of Broadband and would love help deciding on which broadband to go with. i have a BT line but have a post office phone bill
I would like to surf the internet with more speed, upload pictures, download music. i dont play games how much GB would i need.

i have seen offers from Madasafish for 5GB and Eplicise for 2GB i dont know which one to go with.many thanks in Advance

Welll... if it was me, i would rule Eclipse out of the equation, that's for sure!
Very few people have a good word to say for Eclipse these days.

... really depends how many music tracks you download a month to be honest...

may be 2-5 not really sure as never done it before.

if it will be less than 20 - you may be ok on a 2GB package... (infact, you could probably do that every week...) if every track was 10MB(which is rather extreme) that'll be round 200MB a week (though its more likely to be half of that!)

2gb is plenty if you're not planning on downloading movies / hundreds of music tracks or playing massive amounts of games.

The majority of our customers do not exceed 3GB in a given month. From personal experience, prior to working for an ISP I always believed that I required unlimited usage because I'm always online, I download music, email loads, upload to websites and Skype.... I was amused to realise that I've never gone beyond 5GB in a month.

People who play bandwidth heavy online games like Warcraft or who are really into peer to peer filesharing will scoff at how little bandwidth I use.....however looking at the stats from our users the majority do stay well below the 3GB mark.

If i went with Madasafish for broadband how easy is it for me to install bearing in mind i havent a clue about computers!
