I was wearing a safety harness while filling my breeks on top of the stack, I'd advise you buy or hire one for the one who got the short straw!
Regarding register plate and, IF you have a decent amount of space to manouvre inside the breast? I would look at having a decent size (length) spigott that fits inside diameter of liner, drop liner over spigott with register plate in place, allowing gravity to keep in place, placing over spigott would be easy, your arm through register plate hole and spigott, guiding liner into place. Fire cement added to seal.
Same again, spiggot on room side of RP, except bend to sits inside spigott, seal with fire cement?
