How are you all planning to cancel - will you write a letter or just cancel the direct debit? My third payment came out last week and points have been credited.0

I am still waiting for one lot of points, phoned friends life who are looking into it. I have also e-mailed tesco customer services.
Just for information i have spoken to Friend Life customer advisor and all you need to do is cancel your direct debit, you will receive a new direct debit request in the post, just ignore this and the policy will lapse after a month0 -

I phoned and chased it, was told when 2 lots of points are due to be credited to the same clubcard number one lot is automatically rejected by their system. After my call they said the missing points will be manually added but this could take up to 2 months, as I don't know which of my two policies has not had points paid out on I think I will continue to pay both premiums0

If they've taken 3 payments, that will cover your policy for 3 months. You can safely cancel the direct debit now, and if you do nothing else the policy will just continue for the 3 month period, leaving your points safe and sound.
If you do want to cancel formally, make sure you tell them that the policy is to continue for the full 3 months that you've paid for.0
