It said somewhere on one of the documents you save that you can write to them to cancel and has the address. I expect it will all come through with the forms.....I will probably cancel the direct debit after the 3rd payment anyway then I am in control :)

Sorry if this is a daft question!
It will only give me cover of £57,537 for £5 a month on a 10 year term (age 32, female, non-smoker, single policy). Does the quote change when you click through to apply for it and fill in the form or is that the best it will give me?

    Thanks

play about with the numbers, increase it a little see what you get, or try putting in the amount of cover. you can ammend your quote on the 1st page.
    e.g. i put in a monthly premium of £6.42 over 20 years i got about £148,000 cover.
when i put in £150,000 cover i got a premium of £6.42 per month.
im looking to keep the cover. i also got silly amounts like you did initially.

We got our paperwork today, no mention anywhere of extra points, anyone know if they generally acknowledge that kind of offer or will they just appear?

Since it is a special promotion it will probably not appear on any paperwork. I don't usually worry about these things as you can easily complain if you didn't receive your points...maybe a screenshot just in case :)

PLUS its when you actually BUY the insurance - the points are not for the quote :)

Just checked my latest balance and the 3000 points have already been added, despite me only paying one month. I was planning to stop the direct debit after the third payment but now wondering if I need to - what would happen if I did it now? They could take it back but what if I spent it before they could?

The could take it back if they wanted as it is clearly stated as 3 months in the T&C's.

Upto them as if they could be bothered though. I doubt they would but dont take my word for it! :T
